Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

Area attractions include great hiking, skiing, restaurants, breweries, stores and markets. Near Great Barrington & Hudson and all the Berkshires and Hudson Valley have to offer.

Soak up this fully renovated and modernized cabin from the 1920s. We kept and reused many vintage materials and fixtures while expanding its footprint with a new bathroom. This charming cabin has also been re-sited so that it is now in proximity to the former Inn at Oak Hill B&B which affords it shared use of amenities like parking, laundry, and privacy. Many antiques decorate the interior including a beautiful brass bed not to forget the coziest kitchenette in the world!

Enjoy our peaceful (pet friendly) home, just a short drive to the center of Norfolk. Great for friends and/or family visits. Board games, puzzles and books inside for all; fire pit outside. Front & side decks, are perfect for relaxing. Access great cafes, shops & cultural delights in Norfolk. The nearby Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate hosts Yale's Summer Chamber Music Concert series. It’s a home, not a hotel. I think you’ll love it!

This cabin is in a lovely, peaceful setting. Cozy and private, it has enough room for a big family gathering. The cabin has almost 10 acres of privacy (but with next door neighbors in sight) and lots of outdoor space, but is very close to all of the Berkshires attractions. Skiing at Catamount and Butternut, hiking at Bash Bish and Mount Greylock, biking and swimming at Taconic State Park and its rail trail all close by.
