Beudy’r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, with stunning views of the Snowdonia Mountain range and Gors Y Ddreiniog (Nature Reserve), which is only a few minutes walk away. Also a great place for cyclists as on a cycle route. Tresgawen Hall Hotel & Spa only 1mile away, local beaches 10minutes drive, Benllech, Lligwy and Red Wharf Bay, where you will also find lots of places to eat and drink. The Market town of Llangefni is a 10minute drive, for all the local amenities.

Our cabin is at the bottom of the garden - and behind that is a disused railway line - owls hoot of a night - wood pigeons coo - robins are nesting. The cabin has a double bed and a double bed settee to accommodate children. The cabin is self contained and energy efficient and environmentally friendly as is practical.
