Place was as described right in old town. Very easy to walk around and plenty of restaurants with many gluten free options. Steep steps up to the apartment but this was as listed. Also can be a little noisy at night but again this is to be expected right next to the harbour precinct at night. Overall very nice and priced right.

Une vue magnifique sur la mer et une partie de la vieille ville, nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette appartement très bien situé dans La Canée.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in Jurgas Unterkunft ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Wir konnten flexibel einchecken und wurden herzlich begrüßt und immer gut beraten. Die Wohnung war super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir konnten sogar unsere Wäsche waschen. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer ist ein Traum. Zu Fuß sind Strand und zahlreiche Restaurants erreichbar. Wir waren in der Nebensaison für eine Woche da, alles war sehr ruhig und entspannt. Wir konnten uns super erholen.

Nous avons passé 7 jours, dans ce cosi petit appartement. Il correspondait tout à fait à la description, et à nos attentes. La mer est accessible quasi directement ce qui n'ai pas négligeable et très appréciable. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut à proximité, petit magasin, boutiques souvenirs, restaurant, bar de plage ... Fanis est très sympathique et réactif, elle a su nous aiguiller notamment pour les activités au alentours, elle est de bon conseils. Il y avait pas mal de moustiques, mais c'est le risque en étant si près de la mer, des produits répulsif était cependant à disposition. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans soucis. Merci

Wir waren 1 Woche in dem Appartement von Zoi. Sie war immer erreichbar und hat immer auf die Nachrichten reagiert. Als wir spät abends ankamen, hatte Sie uns Pizzen und Eis in das Gefrierfach gestellt. Für unser Frühstück war auch alles da was wir gebraucht haben! Die Wohnung hat direkten Zugang zum Strand und die Altstadt von Rethymno ist zu Fuß in 20/25 Minuten erreichbar. Wirklich eine tolle Unterkunft mit Blick aufs Meer 🥰 immer wieder gern!!

Stayed at Despoina’s Place for five sunny days. The apartment is not overlooked so you can open the door and lie in bed looking at the sea. Matala’s sandy beach and aquamarine water is just a few steps down. There’s a little cafe/bar next door and the lovely staff will bring your morning coffee or your beers to the terrace. We did nothing really, except sit on the beach and enjoy the sun. A couple of days were windy so the sand got blown about - if we’d have stayed longer we might have invested in a wind break. Highly recommended.

We spent a week in George's apartment with a group of four friends. The apartment is located in a perfect setting to explore the island of Crete. However, as it is located on a beautiful beach and also offers a pool as well as a number of other leisure opportunities (e.g. table tennis, beach volleyball court), we barely felt the need to leave the place. The apartment itself was super clean and perfectly equipped for self-catering. In the evenings, we enjoyed wonderful sunsets from the spacious balcony in front of a beautiful sea and mountain backdrop. We often completed our evenings by visiting one of the three tavernas in walking distance offering authentic and affordable Greek cuisine with a panoramic view of the beach. During our stay, George was personally available for any kind of questions at any time. We were also deeply impressed by George's hospitality and his obliging manner. Once again, thank you very much George for the wonderful time. We will definitely come back as soon as we go to Crete again!

What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Harry was very responsive and friendly. The house was really nice, just as described, and had everything we needed. The view is beautiful—if you wake up early, you can see the sun rise right in the center of the big window and watch it move all the way up. The location is good. We did hear some highway noise, and there was a friendly group of dogs that barked in the morning. But at least you could pet them they were sweet. The hot tub was nice. Although we didn’t use it as much as we thought we would. It’s on the roof, and since the house has a central spiral staircase, you need to come down it to get back inside. That made it a bit tricky with wet feet and the April nights were a bit too chilly to stay on the roof for too long after the tub. But we really enjoyed using the BBQ. Overall, we had a great time. Harry’s hospitality was top notch.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Georgios. L'appartement est à deux pas de la plage, vous trouvez des restaurants et commerces dans la rue ou à 300m dans le village. Les chambres sont très spacieuses (plus grandes qu'il n'y paraît dans l'annonce). La terrasse est très agréable et le parking gratuit est juste a côté. Les serviettes de bain et de plage sont fournies. Nous avons trouvé que Kalyvès est bien situé pour visiter l'ouest de la Crète. Nous reviendrons !

Great stay at the apartment just a few steps from the coast, nice little bar restaurant even closer. Minutes to the harbour. Interiors were very well done with loads of character. Exactly what we needed - thank you

We had a fantastic stay at Seaside Villa Lavrys. The villa itself is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with a lovely view. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, but do keep in mind that you’ll need a car to get around as the location is a bit remote. Taxi transportation from Chania costs around €30. What truly made our experience special was our host, Alex. From the moment we booked, Alex was incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer any questions we had. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering great local tips and assistance whenever needed. His kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference in our trip. Alex’s family was also very warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay in Crete, and Alex’s hospitality made it even better.

This place was wonderful. Most outstanding was the hospitality from our hosts; Artemis, Tasoula, Giorg, and Dimitris, all whom helped us with check-in or questions or help we needed. We were greeted with a warm welcome, some delicious food and a wonderful home. The place is clean and perfect for a beach location. The beach is beautiful and quiet and has a few restaurants near for food. there is a small mini market though it doesnt cater much for meals just the few extras you may need - though they were very friendly and nice. It was easy to communicate, check in and check out and teh beds were comfortable and clean. definite recommendation

Die Unterkunft von Heike war super gepflegt und hatte alles was das Herz begehrte. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und unsere Zeit sehr genossen! Heike war auch beim Tag unserer Anreise vor Ort und hat uns persönlich viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und uns alles nötige erklärt. Sie war auch jederzeit schnell für uns erreichbar. Utensilien fürs Grillen von Fleisch und Fisch waren auch vollständig vorhanden. Die umliegenden Kleinstädte mit zahlreichen Lokalitäten sind mit dem Auto schnell und leicht zu erreichen. Wer sportlich ist, schafft es auch zu Fuß :) . Aber auch zu Hause kann man die Seele gut baumeln lassen, entweder in einer Hängematte oder einer Liege.

Super logement pour ma femme et moi avec notre bébé, agréable et bien équipé. l'essentiel pour séjourner étai présent. à proximité immédiate de la plage. un très bon moment

I can see why Katerina is a super host -everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! We felt very comfortable in her place! We found it very convenient and yet peaceful! The view from her balcony was amazing! Katerina was very responsive and pro active ! I would stay here again if I were to visit Chania in the future!

Valias place was amazing ! We dealt with her mum Katerina who was super friendly and always on the phone if I needed anything. Perfect location with stunning views of the Venetian port . Everywhere easy to get to. The beach about a 30 min walk and a beautiful one at that. Highly recommend and are looking forward to booking again nxt year 😀

What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

Wir haben sehr schöne vier Tage hier verbracht. Der Ausblick ist wirklich wunderschön und in 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß bei einem Supermarkt. Vor dem Haus konnte man gut parken.

This place cannot be faulted, excellent host, we wanted for nothing. Great location for centre of town, easy walking distance to amenities, would come back here again without hesitation

Das Apartment liegt in einer tollen Lage zwischen zwei sehr schönen Stränden und nicht allzu weit vom Flughafen entfernt oder für andere Ausflüge mit dem Auto. Man kann hier noch den typisch griechischen Charme erleben - in den Tavernen am Meer oder im nahe gelegenen Supermarkt. Das Apartment selbst ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht! Sogar 1 Flasche kalt gestelltes Wasser und die nötigsten Dinge zum Kochen (Öl, Salz, Zucker, Kaffee) sind vorhanden! Dimitris war darüber hinaus sehr freundlich und half bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen mit dem WLAN sofort weiter! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und genossen sehr die Gastfreundschaft! Wir würden immer wieder kommen :)

Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden, man ist im Zentrum der Insel, sofort auf der Autobahn (Empfehlung: vor Einzug unbedingt rückwärts am Berg anfahren üben!!) und trotzdem ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig und hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Vor allem der kleine Balkon direkt über dem Meer hat es uns angetan, auch wenn er im Sommer vielleicht etwas zu heiß/zu wenig schattig sein könnte. Hier schließt man auch schnell Freundschaft mit den 4 Katzen, die gelegentlich auch den Nachbarshund zur Weißglut treiben. Wer Angst vor Katzen hat, sollte sich bei diesen anhänglichen Exemplaren lieber eine andere Wohnung suchen, Katzenfreunde werden es lieben. Mariannas Mutter ist eine gute Seele, bringt Eier der hauseigenen Hühner sowie frisches Obst und Gemüse vorbei. Alles in allem für uns der perfekte Ort, um die Erkundung der Insel mit Erholung zu kombinieren.

We had a perfect stay here. We loved the location- a 10 min walk to old town but also with many local restaurants right outside. The apartment itself was incredible with everything you need and Christini was very friendly and gave us recommendations:)
