Te awa Lodge Riverside retreat

We absolutely adored staying at Te Awa Lodge on our recent trip to Wanaka. It was a gorgeous riverside home with an amazing hot tub and sauna, which we loved using after our hikes. Graeme and Carolyn were such warm, welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The property is easily accessible to Wanaka (10-15 min) and Mount Aspiring (1 hour) . Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Fig Tree House

We loved our stay at The Fig Tree House. Sarah's house is beautifully designed with all the comforts of home. Sarah's a very thoughtful host and we really enjoyed getting to know her when we bumped into her. The house was a great space for our children (4 and 7) who enjoyed the books and games in the house plus the novelty of a fire place. Sarah's house is close to the river which has great biking/walking trails, 100m to a small supermarket, bakery and shops and a short drive to Wanaka town. We couldn't recommend it more! Thanks Sarah.

We had the most incredible stay at Victoria’s space! The smell from the fresh florals was such a unique and wonderful touch. The space was designed so well and the views of the mountains and the lake are just breath taking. It’s across the street from the most incredible restaurant that Victoria suggested (The Sherwood) and we ended up going back 2 nights in a row to try everything on the menu. The proximity from town is great, you can walk if you are feeling like some exercise or it’s a quick 5 min drive/ uber. We also enjoyed an afternoon swimming off the dock in the refreshing waters of the lake. I cannot recommend this stay enough!

Exceptional stay! Deb is an amazing host - thoughtful, welcoming, and attentive. The place is perfectly located for easy walking, yet feels private and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Loved the special touches throughout. Don’t think twice about booking - we highly recommend this special Airbnb!

Incredible view out our window in the morning, cosy cottage, comfy bed and everything we needed for a breakfast. Loved the location and sitting in the hot tub with the view was such a nice end to our day. Michelle dropped down to say hi, friendly response to questions and recommendations Highly recommend

Spacious, Elegant Retreat with Unforgettable Views

If I had to describe Jodi & Renee’s place in one word it would be: flawless. The apartment is spacious with some of the best views we’ve ever experienced in an AirBNB. This flat has everything you could want; super comfortable rooms (with en-suites) each overlooking the water, an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, and an inviting living room. The only downside is that this flat is so great, it made us think twice about going out and exploring the town!

High-end lovely home with Hot tub and lock-up garage. Tastefully presented, neat and tidy. We were a family of 4 adults, this home was perfect, well located warm and cozy. we would stay here again in future if available. Recommend this property to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the heart of Wanaka.

The cabin was minimalist and sleek in design - which we loved. The views are absolutely gorgeous and the property was very peaceful and private. The fire pit was a nice touch. I’d definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Home away from home! We absolutely loved this Airbnb and would recommend. Not only is it in a great spot, but they have thought of everything to make your stay easier. No need to buy those bits and bobs that you need to take home, they have it covered. The spa was a treat, the bath had bath bombs and salts, even the guest book was well put together. Really can’t wait to return!

Philippa is an amazing host, super responsive and helpful. Her place was a perfect base to explore lake Wakatipu and the area. The house is super nice with a lot of character. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub very much and Philippa was so nice to explain how to use it. We enjoyed our stay!

Great place for big family to stay in. They have a garden for the kids to run around. There’s no fan provided but with the cold breeze at night, it’s not an issue. Plus they have centralise aircon for the house. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

That Wanaka Tree House - BEST Lake Front Location

This is a fantastic place to stay in Wanaka. The house is huge with lots of "breakout" areas when multiple families are travelling together. The location is a 10-15 min stroll from shops and restaurants. The Wanaka Tree is a 1 minute walk from the back door. We loved sitting outside with a morning coffee watching the sun rise over the lake.
