This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. In a quiet location a few minutes walk from Welshpool town centre, the guest suite on the 2nd floor of my Victorian town house offers a comfortable private space for 1-3 people. There are 2 bedrooms (one with a superkingsize bed and the other with a single bed) and your own shower room. The single bedroom doubles up as a sitting room with a TV and comfy chairs. Breakfast is included - help yourself in the dining room on the ground floor. There is secure off-street parking on my drive.

The perfect place to stay as a couple or by yourself when visiting Hay. From the Tiny Townhouse it is only a short walk up Brook St to the centre of town passing Booths Cinema. Closer to home is The Globe, an old converted chapel turned Restaurant. The house is very cosy yet modern with an open plan ground floor with kitchen whilst the upstairs bedroom has a kingsize bed & a large walk in shower in the bathroom. At the back of the property there is access for bike storage.
