Teresa kept us informed from the moment we booked. Giving clear directions and instructions for check in. We arrived just after check in had opened and the hot tub was ready to use. There was a lovely welcome basket left inside for us. Little Acres what a gem it was very clean and tidy inside and out. There was a guest book with useful numbers and instructions for all the appliances and hot tub. The views were amazing and the area peaceful. The hot tub was welcomed after a day walking mount snowdon. A nice green area in front of the shepherds hut was kept tidy with a hammock on it. We walked through the gardens to see the animals although most were still out in the fields. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

We had a really lovely stay at Carol’s shepherd’s hut. It was cosy and in such an idyllic location where we were able to fully wind down and relax for our stay. The added touches made a difference and Carol was proactive in her communication which was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

A great place to stay as we were visiting the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Beautiful gypsy caravan in peaceful surroundings on the edge of Hay-on-Wye. Great option for anyone visiting the festival

Lovely little shepherds hut. Bed looks small in the pictures but was very spacious and comfy! All amenities and equipment you could need. Perfectly situated for surrounding walks (Pen y fan about 20 minutes away in the car) lots of lovely waterfall walks (Henrhyd Falls was a lovely walk). Lovely place to escape it all.

What a lovely tranquil spot with a pretty garden and stream and a lovely outside space to relax. The hut is very nice, a great space and our host was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place and may well return for a longer stay as so much to explore in the area.

Lovely stay, our children loved it and everything was very well described in the advert. Directions were great and we found it easily. Only thing that would make it even better would be not having to bring our own bedding but this did not put us off and we had the most amazing stay. Thank you Sian. Would recommend to everyone.

A unique stay in the shepherds hut with beautiful surroundings. Had all the facilities needed for a long weekend, and extra luxury with the hot tub.

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

We had a lovely stay celebrating my birthday at Tulip. The Elan Valley walks were beautiful and the lamb & flag inn was a great place for some much needed food and Guinness, whilst watching the six nations! Becky presented the hut beautifully and was quick to reply with any questions we had. The hot tub was a great addition too! We would love to come again soon and would highly recommend! had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut! The hut was very clean and cosy with everything provided. the surrounding views of the hills and mountains were outstanding! Beth as a host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we need and went extra doing things like lighting the hot tub so it was ready for our arrival. my gf and I are already talking about coming back, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

A great little place for a peaceful getaway, quite a unique place on an old train carriage, lots to do around and a helpful guide in the carriage point you in the right direction. Very helpful hosts too, we had an issue one night with the electrics and sent a message not expecting a reply until morning, however we received not only a reply, but the problem was resolved straight away! Will 100% be visiting again!

I booked this as a surprise getaway for my partners birthday and what can I say but WOW! From the moment we arrived we were amazed by the beautiful surroundings and quality of the accommodation. We were then welcomed with a beaming smile from Suzi who took her time to get to know us and show us all the amenities. A couple of the nights we lost track of time just star gazing and we seen a few shooting starts too! If you’re looking for accommodation in this area I really cannot recommend this place enough! You NEED to visit. We will certainly be coming back!

Lovely relaxing spot for a countryside getaway! Suzanne was a lovely host who was super proactive with communication and really friendly throughout our stay. The hut was really peaceful and a wonderful spot for a relaxing holiday!

What a stunning hut with beautiful views! The farm is breath taking! The hut has everything you need and the bed is super cozy. Their info book with the walking trails around the area was super helpful if you don't know where to start. As well as nearby cafes, restaurants and shops. It was lovely to have an enclosed area for our pooch Ripley to have a wonder and explore as well. We can thank Laura enough for a perfect get away! Would highly recommend for someone who needs a getaway and a mental reset. From Leoni, Matthew and Ripley 🐶

My partner and I (and our dog!) spent the Easter long weekend in this beautiful shepherds hut located on the canal! It was absolutely perfect. The hut was equipped with everything we needed. There were so many beautiful sights and hikes we could visit from the hut, not to mention the Osprey that had just nested nearby! The yard was perfect for our dog as it’s all fenced in and had plenty of room for him to roam. Bathrooms were spotless with amazing water pressure. We highly recommend the three Horsehoes Inn, which is just a short drive away and had amazing food and atmosphere. We couldn’t recommend this shepherds hut anymore! Big thank you to Emma who was super responsive and wonderful. We can’t wait to come back ☺️

We had a great time with our dog at the hut. It is clear that Catherine and Brian put a lot of effort into making the hut a wonderful cozy getaway. The area is so peaceful and beautiful, hut is right next to a trail. Everything in the hut is pristine.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here just wish it had been longer. Beautiful, peaceful location. Hut very clean, tidy and cosy and bed comfy. Enjoyed the bbq and fire pit. Our 2 working cocker spaniels loved the field to run around. Cathy was lovely and friendly. Nearby Hay-on-Wye a lovely quaint little town to visit and to walk along the river. We will be back.

Wow...just WOW! This place is a little slice of heaven. Amazing location. So peaceful. The hut had everything you needed. Super comfy and cozy. Sian and Jack are just the best hosts. They gave us everything we needed to make out stay ideal. Friendly, welcoming and informative re all the bits and bobs in the local area. Make sure you do the Bryn Arw and Sugar Loaf circular and stop at the Crown for a well earned pint or too.
