An extremely welcoming place that had many things to do and accommodating our autistic children very well! It was a shame we didn't get the chance to make s'mores! We would love to come back to this place sometime since it is so peaceful and homey! We watched older movies that we forgot about! Thanks for the DVDs!

I traveled solo with one of our hounds for the Greyhounds in Gettysburg weekend and I felt totally safe staying at Steve's place. It's just over 30 minutes from downtown Gettysburg and is very quiet and somewhat remote- perfect for our stay. We fell alseep to singing frogs and woke up to the roosters. My hound loved walking around sniffing all the things and checking out the horses. The place was clean and welcoming, and Steve was very friendly! He checks in to make sure everything's going well and you have what you need. Couches and beds were all comfy and I got 2 great nights of rest. I would absolutely stay here with my pup again. I regret not staying another day so we could get one more day of relaxing and recharging!

Kathryn and her girls met us shortly after arrival . Also got to meet the dogs and cats. Very patient with us. Beautiful home and surroundings. Will definitely go back

We were pleasantly surprised with the proximity of the Airbnb to our destinations. It was warm, inviting, and cutely decorated with an authentic cabin-feel right outside of DC. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to come back.

Perfect, peaceful, immaculate yard and spotless on the inside. The host we extremely helpful and I would definitely want to return.

Beautiful property to walk around take in the scenery and relax. The fenced animals on the property were a added bonus. The accommodations were neat and tidy. Juana was quick to respond to tell us were the extra towels are stored when we could not find them. This is our 2nd stay there and will return again for sure.

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

My man and I had a wonderful time having a quiet and private weekend getaway. The place is so cozy and the hosts are so welcoming. It’s a beautiful view off the back porch. One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to spend time with Bilbo the cat. He was so snuggly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived! Would love to come back here again!

Loved the location. The house was easy to find. Great local restaurants just a few minutes away. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our group of 10. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this house!!

Phenomenal listing - private entrance and experience, incredibly friendly when I ran into Lindsey and her pup before heading out for the night! Beautifully decorated with stickers indicating “if it’s here, it’s free to use” for the coffee and tea! Towels were readily accessible, light switches labeled. I was nervous about directions to the location, but Lindsey’s instructions were thorough and clear to understand once you approach the indicators she highlighted. All in all, it will be my go-to listing if it’s available during work trips! Thank you for your hospitality and care!

An amazing experience from the hosts immediate level of responsiveness to personalized check in to amenities which was all just a precursor to the view and peaceful nature of the cottage. We cannot wait to come back.

It was perfect and so magical!! loved every bit of it, the perfect weekend getaway and the hosts were very responsive! my only con is that the hot tub didn't seem to be the cleanest. Once we turned on the jets, we kept coughing. I googled it and it basically could've been chemical irritants, bacteria, etc. Mainly just because of not being maintained and cleaned properly. Luckily you're not supposed to stay longer than 15-30min, and that's the longest we went in it but coughing the whole time isn't the best time haha. We've gone to other airbnbs with hot tubs before too and never had a coughing fit so this one was odd. Other than that, we loved the sauna way more. So unique and neat! The deck is super cool, the pond is beautiful! Made it all so exciting and magical. There's no reception either, but the wifi worked perfectly. The kitchen had way more than needed, there was even an ice machine that we used to add to our mimosas. The TV also had Netflix added if you wanna watch anything!

Had a great stay at Shaun's place - enjoyed the amenities and the stars that were out that night. Had a big lightning storm that night, so if that sort of thing wakes you up, bring a sleep mask because there are a couple of skylights. The hot tub and pool were great and the outdoor seating and speakers were pretty nice, too. When we left to go hiking after checkout, Shaun immediately contacted me every way he could to tell me I left my motorcycle leathers behind, which would have been a disaster for me, and at 20+ pounds and super-bulky, would have been an expensive shipping nightmare. In all, great experience.

Beautiful place, wish I could have stayed under better personal circumstances as it is a truely wonderful little guest house.

This worked out perfectly for our son to visit from Earlysville. Very relaxing fun, large studio with 3 sleeping areas. Huge bonus that our dogs were welcome. Enjoyed visiting local parks and the Barbeque exchange in Gordonsville. Beautiful landscaped property and special treats yo enjoy were left for us. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful extended stay! The hosts were incredibly responsive and hospitable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook great meals. Our dog loved the beautiful yard, and we especially enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds chirping each morning. Highly recommend!

We recently booked Namastays’ place when a family member became very ill and was in the hospital. The hosts were super accommodating of our needs around seeing to the care of our hospitalized family member and their place offered a comfortable and relaxing retreat after long days spent at the hospital. It was such a blessing to have someplace like Namastays’ for us to work from. It allowed us the space to focus on what we needed to do for our family without having to worry. Super grateful the experience we had here, highly recommend these hosts and their place.

Everything was perfect! The space was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet and peaceful. It was nice to meet Madison and learn a bit about their property and animals. The area was quiet and the view of the pastures was beautiful!

Our stay was truly home away from home - we felt safe and comfortable. We spent most of our trip in DC -an easy 15 min walk to the Metro. We would gladly stay here again.

The Caretaker's Cottage was a welcome and comfortable respite from an otherwise busy and fraught visit to the DMV. Fiona and John were responsive and helpful with my inquiries. I will rebook the next time I travel to the area.
