Parsonage Farm Stables

More than 500 years old and set in a gloriously remote rural location on Exmoor, this is a fabulous hayloft floor apartment on the Coleridge Way with enclosed garden - perfect for couples, small families and dogs. In the valley where Coleridge wrote Kubla Khan, this is a house steeped in history. The property sleeps 4, though it's just as suitable for couples, as the second bedroom is 'compact'. It has fabulous views across the Bristol Channel, and is a the perfect retreat from busy daily life.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Amongst the trees, the cabin is in earshot of the seashore with views from inside and outside of the ever-changing tides and hills beyond. Porthole Log Cabin has a king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom, complete with a roll top bath and a separate walk-in shower. Outside, the large elevated decking area has three separate seating areas to enjoy the ambience of the peaceful setting.

The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Guests are invited to enjoy picnics, wild swimming and campfires on the river bank, and walk through the surrounding Arboretum and 17 acres of parkland. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

Cosy Exmoor Cottage Tucked Away in Porlock

Boatman's Cottage is a delightful stylish cottage tucked away in the centre of the wonderful Exmoor village of Porlock. Believed to date back to the 1890s, this cottage is part of a small terrace originally built for boatbuilders and their families. The cottage row is described in the Historic Exmoor record as 'having a pleasing sense of seclusion' and it certainly does, yet a short walk along the mediaeval Drang and you are in the heart of the wonderful Porlock Village.

There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet - The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Nestled on the edge of our family small holding on Exmoor with a herd of Red Devon cows, horses, chickens, sheep and dogs. Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep. You will find The Studio just off the High Street of Porlock in its own peaceful courtyard garden. It is suitable for two adults and baby, dogs are welcome. The Studio is a stone's throw from shops, pubs and a fish and chip shop. A short drive or a longer walk and your on Exmoor - choose to go on a safari, mountain biking, walking, horse riding, or simply watching the sun go down at Porlock Weir with a glass of wine.
