Welcome to the Writer’s Cabin at Wilder Retreat on the Saint Croix. A place to unplug and unwind. Designed to slow you down and reconnect you with nature. This thoughtfully designed tiny cabin blends beauty and comfort, with access to the saint croix river and use of wood-fired sauna and wood-fired hot tub and outdoor shower. The cabin features a queen bed in the loft, cooktop, solar power, and a pump sink. A gas fireplace keeps things cozy in the winter months. Come to rest. Leave restored.

River Song Cottage * quiet retreat

River Song Cottage is nestled along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, near downtown St. Croix Falls. You will find 2 bedrooms (1: queen bed, 2: twin over full bunk + twin trundle), 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, open dining/ living room area, and a large deck and backyard that cozies up to the wooded banks of the St. Croix River. The wooded lot between our yard and the river belongs to the National Park Service. Public trails can be accessed through the visitor center next door.

Three bedroom, two bath lake home with above garage loft. Features a 1/2 acre lot with 135 feet of shoreline on the south end of Bone Lake. Bring your boat and launch at nearby access with dock on property. Paddle boat and canoe provided. Sand bottom allows for great swimming. Enjoy the screened in porch day/night with sliding vinyl windows, level lot for yard games and wood provided for onsite fire pit. No parties or large gatherings.
