Secluded Lake Cabin + Hot Tub

A private secluded lake cabin retreat north of Turtle Lake, WI. Downstairs consists of a living room w/sofa sleeper, kitchen, and bathroom. The upstairs has 1 bedroom with a queen, a bed in the open loft and 1/2 bath. Drive by grazing cows and farm fields into the woods, onto a private gravel road, and down a long winding wooded driveway to our lake retreat! We don’t recommend visiting in winter without 4 wheel drive! Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee.

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. River Song Cottage is nestled along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, near downtown St. Croix Falls. You will find 2 bedrooms (1: queen bed, 2: twin over full bunk + twin trundle), 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, open dining/ living room area, and a large deck and backyard that cozies up to the wooded banks of the St. Croix River. The wooded lot between our yard and the river belongs to the National Park Service. Public trails can be accessed through the visitor center next door.

Welcome to Art Camp. Art camp is a Bell Tent hosted by ceramic artist Ani Kasten at her homestead and ceramics studio. Offering a unique, comfortable and inspiring respite, surrounded by nature and art, Art Camp was created to meld enjoyment of the outdoors with art and creativity. Fun fact – this property was the original location for Franconia Sculpture Park, which is now located just a mile to the west on Hwy 8.
