Jimmy and his family are amazing hosts, super friendly, and responsive! The hotel is centrally located on Main St. and it was so nice to be able to walk everywhere. The room we stayed in was cozy and enough to accommodate a 2 night stay as we explored the town. Their cafe on the main level has tasty food as well. Book your stay at Cold Spring Hotel!

Jimmy is the best host I've encountered in staying. He was accommodating, friendly, kind, and really made the stay even better.

We had trouble finding the check-in location because the address lead us to a small cafe. Turns out the airbnb was right above it and you had to check-in inside the cafe. But as soon as Jimmy saw us outside, he told us to come inside to check-in. He was very helpful and accommodating throughout the entire stay. All the staff was friendly. We brought our dog for the trip and they accommodated to his needs as well. The room was small but it's perfect for a short stay for couples. Everything was clean and homey.

In town for Garden State comic Fest at the Sussex Fairgrounds…great location, view of water was beautiful, cooks kitchen (tip: travel with pam spray) and huge island for gathering, each room has a ceiling fan and the master with private bath & door was perfect. Minimal effort was required for check out which was very nice and appreciated after a weekend of working. Also recommend Cow Patty’s for dinner! Delicious food in this area

Just got back from a wonderful one night stay with Jimmy. We were greeted warmly, with humor and great local recommendations. The hotel is a convenient 10-15 minute walk from the Cold Spring Metro North stop. The room was exactly as pictured: quaint, clean, and cozy. We were offered discounts on breakfast and additional nights stays, which was a great touch. Jimmy was kind enough to hold our luggage and let us use his cafe's restroom after we checked out and explored Cold Spring for the day. If I come back to explore the multitude of hiking trails in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Jimmy again. I'm also recommending his hotel to any friends/family planning a trip to Cold Spring. Thanks for the great stay! - Taylor and Chris

Cold Spring Hotel and Jimmy the host are the best. Walkable from the train, pet friendly, plus the front desk is a cafe! This is a no-brainer when visiting Cold Spring. We’ll definitely book again.

Indian lake is holy ground. I’m a level 5 empath and energy worker. Ancient wisdom energy beings thrive wi th tallman state park behind the house and the fauna and healthy ecosystem speak for itself. In these three day visit we saw 1) 2 Pilated woodpecker’s 2) a family of 6 bears replete with a cub hugging a tree 3) a great grey heron with 7 foot wing span 4) a gaggle of giant crows and 5) a lone HUGE black bear > 600 lbs. if nature is your cup of tea Lionel’s your man. Thanks again we will be back!

Breathtaking Views, Cozy Cabin - A Perfect Getaway. From the moment we arrived at lazy river , we were blown away. The views were absolutely incredible! Waking up to the Delaware river and the winter views, the sunrise over the mountains, was truly magical. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a comfortable bed. We especially loved the deck views of the river, with driving distance to beautiful views like high point and surrounding hills only minutes away, the fire pit outside and the fire place inside, can't forget the good collection of record players. David was a fantastic host. They were very responsive, helpful with local tips, and ensured we had everything we needed. We felt very welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway with stunning scenery.

A hidden gem! This spot has a ton of character and the hosts are awesome! The lake and surrounding area is beautiful as well, with plenty to do for the outdoorsy type and cute shops and great restaurants within minutes. would highly recommend and hope to find time for a return trip!

From booking through check out, Maureen was pleasant, communicated promptly and clearly, and had the house perfectly dialed in to accommodate our family. The house is situated on a large, beautiful lakefront lot with spectacular views, and outfitted for families and friends to have an amazingly fun experience, regardless of weather or time of year. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, or a lively time with friends, this place will not disappoint!

Gorgeous home right on the lake with great amenities - we made good use of the hot tub on our girls weekend! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, and a fabulous view. The hosts were very responsive with anything we needed, and it was super easy to check in and out on our own. Everything is very well managed. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
