Mary Madai is an exceptional host. She is friendly and always quick to respond to any requests. The apartment is great. It’s in a wonderful location just outside of the hustle of Centro but easily walkable to anywhere in the central area of the city. It is impeccably clean and has an amazing rooftop terrace for enjoying sunsets. The apartment also has great features that aren’t available at any other rental I’ve stayed in the city- a washing machine, air conditioning for the warmest days, a toaster oven, a mid-sized new and clean refrigerator, and hot water with great pressure (a real rarity in Oaxaca) The only slight downside to the apartment is a lack of comfortable seating in the living room, but that can be easily managed by rearranging a few pillows and cushions. All-in-all, this is a fantastic rental at a great price and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The space is clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the basic amenities you need. It has a traditional charm that fits well with the character of the neighborhood. Néstor was a fantastic host—very attentive and responsive, which made everything smooth. The location in Jalatlaco is ideal: safe, quiet, and walkable, with the city center close by but just far enough to enjoy some peace. The neighborhood itself is historic and beautiful, with great food options nearby and a local vibe, even with signs of gentrification. One of our favorite parts was the rooftop—perfect for unwinding in the evening. We spent a few nights up there playing cards, reading or chatting and enjoying the breeze on the warm Oaxacan nights. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking to be close to the city while enjoying a more laid-back, authentic neighborhood.

This is truly a 5-star stay. I’ve been in a lot of airbnbs & this has just been one of my favorites. Host are super responsive, place is so clean, kitchen is great and usable. It’s about a 10-minute walk from center (maybe 20) which I didn’t mind because it was so quiet and felt really safe where we stayed. I highly recommend this spot!

Estuvo muy buena la estancia, un poco de ruido por los que están al rededor, muy bueno para estancias cortas, un baño de un depa creo que estaba un poco sucia por encima, y honestamente creo que el costo de limpieza debería valer de acorde al tiempo de estancia, a mi parecer fue un poco elevado ya que solo nos quedamos una noche, pero en fin, muy bueno el lugar!🤙🏽

Lovely apartment, very centrally located in the city center. The unit is very quiet as it's located in the back of the building and not facing the busy street.

El departamento era tal cual se describía, es muy cómodo, cuenta con dos baños completos lo cual es muy práctico. La ubicación es buena sin embargo está como a 15 min caminando a la zona del zócalo. La zona es tranquila. No cuenta con estacionamiento pero todo los días dejé mi vehículo es la calle y no hubo ningún problema, la zona es muy tranquila. El departamento es muy cómodo y se disfruta al llegar de caminar durante todo el día. La comunicación fue muy buena con el anfitrión y siempre estuvieron atentos.

Excelene departamento, estuvimos bastante cómodos en el departamento de Betel y Javier. Buena ubicación y tranquila. Alrededor lindo para caminar en la zona de Jalatlaco.

El departamento fue muy cómodo para pasar una semana con amigos visitando Oaxaca. Tiene todo lo necesario para poder estar a gusto y disfrutar. Además, está a una caminata muy rápida del centro y de varias cafeterías y tiendas, un supermercado, etc. El proceso de reservación, el check-in y el check-out fueron muy sencillos y Jacob Leonel, Juan José e Itzel siempre fueron muy atentos y estuvieron en constante comunicación. ¡Lo recomendamos mucho!

Excelente alojamiento, Fernando es un tipazo, nos ayudó en todo momento, y mantuvo comunicación efectiva. El espacio estuvo en general ordenado y muy cómodo.

Tuvimos una estancia increíble gracias a Miguel Ángel :) El departamento estaba muy amplio y cómodo, con todo lo necesario para estar la semana. El rumbo estuvo muy tranquilo todo el tiempo que estuvimos ahí. La ubicación estuvo maravillosa: todo está a distancia caminable, hay un montón de lugares cerca para comer, hay tienditas y súper por si necesitas algo. Miguel Ángel fue muy atento desde el principio. Nos perdimos un poco para llegar y él nos esperó afuera para mostrarnos exactamente el lugar; nos explicó claramente dónde estaba y cómo funcionaba cada cosa dentro del departamento y siempre fue muy amable. Definitivamente nos volveríamos a alojar aquí en una visita futura.

El lugar de Luis es excelente fresco y de buen gusto, a unos minutos caminando de todo. él es súper amable y atento estuvo pendiente de nuestra llegada y salida. seguro volveremos

Thank you so much for another amazing stay (this was our second time here). Absolutely beautiful property and the perfect size for a group of 6 - so many different spaces to hang out, work, or have downtime for ourselves. Communication, check-in process, and general information/guidance were excellent.

Por la geografía de la ciudad, en está zona las casas no manejan cocheras, si eres de los que se preocupa mucho por dejar tu auto en la calle Piénsalo bien, si llegas sin auto , es lo mejor por que te quitas ese pendiente. de lo demás todo OK anfitrión e instalación.

Lugar súper bonito y agradable, cuenta con todo para pasar unos días placenteros. Ubicaciones muy céntrica…el lugar está muy tranquilo y con mucha seguridad. Rosa es una super anfitriona, en todo momento estuvo pendiente de nuestras necesidades. Muuuyyy recomendable!
