Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

Period cottage, cosy sittingroom individual host

Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

The self-contained studio is on two floors, which is bright, airy and furnished well with a private entrance. You can get fantastic views at the top of the garden and, better still, from the top field. Breakfast basket including cereals and bread, milk, juice and fresh ground coffee and a selection of teas will be included.

This newly built, spacious and stylish one bedroom cottage is set in the picture perfect village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, located in South Oxfordshire. Peaceful and private it is brilliantly located for tranquil walks, or exploring the history of nearby Wallingford or Oxford. Airy and spacious, the cottage is well equipped and modern. An entirely self contained cottage, recently converted from a Georgian stable and gardeners’ lodge. While adjacent to the owners property it is entirely separate, with its own secure parking and EV charger. Located in a small village, with two pubs on doorstep. Market town of Wallingford (setting for “Midsomer Murders”) is short walk, many amenities including boat rides on the River Thames an outdoor heated pool (summer), great restaurants and shops including Waitrose.

The Pool House

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.
