Casa do Pinto

A Casa do Pinto é uma propriedade de turismo rural, situada na aldeia de Canelas, Arouca, a 5 minutos de carro dos Passadiços do Paiva e do Museu das Trilobites. É uma casa rural datada de 1764, reconstruída em 2008, em xisto e madeira, dotada de duas salas de estar, cozinha, seis quartos com WC, Tv, aquecimento, AC e Wi-Fi. Possui estacionamento privativo, alpendre panorâmico, jardim, espaço agrícola, que permitem actividades ao ar livre, proporcionando tranquilidade e contacto com a natureza.

Stay at the roundhouse on the hill and enjoy the idyllic and secluded atmosphere. Quinta de Ciparros has 11ha and we live ca. 100 m away, in the main farmhouse. We grow and sell vegetables, guests can purchase directly and fresh. The pool with fresh spring water is 50 m away from the hut. (Use at your own risk.) The parking area is 50m downwards, the path is on gravel. The national park Peneda-Gerês is closeby. The Senhora da Lapa chapel with viewpoint hill and Castro de Anissó are close.

The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.
