Bright, Beautiful Apartment in Excellent Uptown Location

Open the yellow front door and enter an apartment that fuses traditional architecture with a modern Parisian vibe. Wake up in a light-filled bedroom and step through the floor-to-ceiling window to the gorgeous wraparound balcony. This adorable one-bedroom apartment features a brand-new kitchen and bathroom with a modern Parisian vibe. Open the yellow front door and enter a living room/kitchen combination that's got everything you need to relax comfortably after a long day riding the streetcar, strolling through Audubon Park and eating poboys and crawfish at Frankie & Johnny's. (See our complete list of the best neighborhood restaurants for more info.) A beautiful wood staircase leads upstairs to a light-filled bedroom, bath and tucked-away workspace. The cheery bathroom has subway tiles on the wall and penny rounds on the floor. There's a floor-to-ceiling window that provides access to a wraparound balcony with views of the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and the lovely neighborhood. Two giant oak trees in front of the house provide a leafy green canopy for most of the year. You have your own completely private apartment and your own balcony. We have a separate front door that leads to our side of the house. We will be happy to answer questions and help out whenever we're around. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with a streetcar stop nearby that gets to downtown in just 20 minutes. Spend the day walking through the Audubon Zoo and explore the historic and exciting French Quarter at night. The apartment is a half block from a St. Charles Avenue streetcar stop. There is ample street parking in front of the house. You can walk to Magazine Street, Freret Street (also lots of restaurants and bars) and Audubon Park. Vacation or business, we expect you treat our home as if it were your own. No smoking indoors. No pets. No late night caterwauling. You must also acknowledge: Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $200.

Best Corner Uptown; Walk to Audubon Park; Ride Streetcar

This home is located in one of the very best neighborhoods in New Orleans and is within easy walking distance of the St Charles Avenue streetcar; two top-rated restaurants, a French bistro, several other casual restaurants, a wine shop, a cheese shop, a grocery, a neighborhood bar, two banks,, a hair salon, a nail salon, a dry cleaner and much more! Built in 1900, the home is accessed by the brick stairs leading to the porch landing and double beveled glass doors. There is plenty of on-street parking just outside the front doors. You are invited to relax and make yourself at home. Yes, you may play the piano! (It was just tuned!) In the building, 2nd floor only (it's plenty of space at 1700 sq ft). Guests are also welcome to enjoy the covered sitting area, the patio and garden and the grill, if desired. Use of the basement or third or fourth floors are not permitted for this rental. I am available by phone or text when needed, but want you to enjoy your privacy, so will not visit without an invitation. There are instructions inside the apartment and also a listing of recommended dining options and music venues. I have travelled to many countries and enjoyed the hospitality from people all over the world. It is my great pleasure to host fellow travellers in my home! Welcome!! Jeanie The house is in an area with some of the finest architecture in New Orleans. It’s one block to the streetcar and steps away from excellent cafes, restaurants, shops, and markets such as Zara's Lil' Giant Supermarket. This is the best walking neighborhood Uptown. Even Magazine street is only 6 blocks away. You can Uber or Lyft anywhere outside the neighborhood or take the streetcar to your destination and Uber or Lyft home I cannot say enough about the location of this apartment and the spaciousness and scale of the architecture.

Irish Channel Apartment off Magazine Street

This historic apartment is centrally located one block off bustling Magazine Street - a hip, commercial strip known to locals for its bars, restaurants, and boutiques. It's one block from a grocery store, drug stores & bus line. It is also a close trip to the Garden District, Tulane, French Quarter, and the St. Charles Avenue street car line. It features a washer/dryer and a kitchen with all basic cooking amenities. Built in the 1880s, the apartment is awash with historic New Orleans charm.

Stupendous Irish Channel Garden Abode

Welcome! Built in 1894, this is a classic New Orleans home. Located near the historic St Charles streetcar, Mardi Gras parades, Garden District and Magazine Street. NO DOGS, NO CATS, NO PETS family member has medically significant allergies 1-2 PEOPLE ONLY NO SMOKING INDOORS ABSOLUTELY NO CANCELLATIONS AFTER CHECK-IN TIME - including same day reservations Thermostat cannot be set below 73F wifi, central air/heat, private washer/dryer I am an artist, living in the 2nd unit of the house.

Sparkling Clean Comfort in Historic Holy Cross

Cute and comfortable apartment nestled into a curve of the Mississippi River levee -- 10 minutes from the French Quarter and Frenchman Street and only a stone's throw from the St. Claude Corridor. The apt has a comfy queen bed and full-size memory foam futon-sofa. Lovely original woodwork, exposed brick and high ceilings. It is fully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. All of the basics are provided and more. Fully equipped kitchen and bath, T.V. and w-fi.

Tropical OASIS Getaway with a Private Pool & Spa

This FUN, OASIS home has 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, 2 dining areas, and 2 1/2 baths. It's located in a SAFE and POPULAR area of New Orleans, and it has a private HOT TUB , swimming POOL, and a ping pong, air hockey and pool table! My vacation rental is located right off the FAMOUS Magazine Street and within walking distance to LOTS of restaurants, boutique stores, art galleries, coffee shops, bars, grocery stores, drug stores, the St Charles streetcar and RTA bus stop. :-)

This is a large, sunny, private studio with covered deck & courtyard located in beautiful residential area just a few blocks from Jazz Fest, City Park and Bayou St. John. 2 Bicycles available upon request. Just a short walk to the Fair Grounds, coffee houses, restaurants, Whole Foods, Sculpture Garden & NOMA. Less than 2 miles to French Quarter, Marigny, Bywater and Treme. Pretty home on Saint Roch Avenue

Stay in a classic New Orleans shotgun home on a tree-lined avenue with all that you need in walking distance. Restaurants, bars, groceries, and art galleries are as close as two blocks away. This private three room home – one bedroom, one bedroom/workspace, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room – is ideal for a couple or two close friends. Guests have access to a shared backyard.

Stay by the river in the safe & historic Bywater

Come stay with us in a real New Orleans neighborhood and live like a local! The house is a "shotgun double" which is located in the safe, historic and artsy neighborhood only 1.5 miles from the French Quarter known as "Bywater." We are mere steps from the new Crescent Park River Walk that stretches from Mazant street to the edge of the French Quarter. A real scenic delight!

Uptown Chic

Enjoy everything New Orleans has to offer within a short distance from our spacious and equipped 1 bedroom apartment. The kitchen is brand new with all of the amenities on a smaller scale. It is nestled in between the restaurants/shops of Magazine and the streetcars of St. Charles just 1 block from the parades!
