The Galloway Steading- The Beehive couples retreat

The Bee Hive at The Galloway Steading is crafted in Galloway forest timber with stunning views and fully enclosed pet friendly garden. Private outside dining, hot tub and fire pit to ensure you can fully enjoy beautiful views and gorgeous black skies at night. With a fully equipped kitchen and shower room and a king-size bed were hoping this couples retreat has it all for complete relaxation. *£13/pet per stay payable on arrival. Wifi is an add on for £10 per stay however 4g is pretty good here

The Sea Cubby, Private Holiday Lodge, Portling.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

The Scars View is a fresh and spacious 4 berth caravan with an incredible sea view situated in the peaceful village of Monreith. This part of Dumfries and Galloway is a true hidden gem with miles of coastline ready to explore just yards away, as well as a great selection of golf courses, sites of historical interest, pubs, cafes, restaurants, Galloway International Dark Sky Park, Kirroughtree Forest Park, Wigtown Scotlands National book town and Bladnoch -Scotlands oldest Southern distillery.

Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

The 'Dragons Lodge' is a beautiful Scandinavian Log House set with others within 36 acres of parkland approximately 800 yards from the unspoilt beach at Sandyhills Bay. Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
