Stunning sea views of Newport Bay can be enjoyed form this delightful and unusual wooden lodge set in its own grounds on the lower slopes of Carningli - Mount of Angels. The lodge has many eco-friendly features and is surrounded by lawns and a large organic vegetable garden. A shepherds track leads directly onto the mountain for exhilarating walks and views. Newport town is just a 15 minute walk down the lane and is renowned as the pearl of the Pembrokeshire coastline. Cosy cottage (Pen Lon Las) is part of the east wing of Albro Castle workhouse situated in its own valley overlooking the Teifi Estuary. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path at the end of our lane. Poppit beach is a 15 minutes walk away and the Preseli Mountains a 20 minute drive. St.Dogmaels is a pretty village with a local produce market every Tuesday, brilliantly stocked shop for essentials and the Ferry Inn pub just a 5 minute walk form us.

The cottage boasts rustic woodwork throughout, original features, vintage furniture, two beautiful gardens and almost direct access to the most spectacular coast path which leads down to a secluded beach. There are spectacular views up and down the coast from the picture window upstairs and beautiful walks minutes from the front door. With the living area being upstairs you have a magical tree top sea view from every window.

Set within its own plot within the National Park with spectacular views over Newport Bay, Parrog, Nevern Estuary and the Preseli Mountains, it is ideally placed for exploring the stunning coast and countryside of Pembrokeshire. It has a pretty garden and seating area and parking for 2+ cars, there is also room for a small boat in the driveway if needed.
