Our home is on a 4-acre lot on High Rock Lake. The guest space is a fully furnished guesthouse above a detached storage area (15 steps). The bedroom has a king-size bed and TV, the den has a full sofa, recliner, and TV with HD antenna​ & Netflix - NO CABLE. There is a full kitchen, bath, washer/dryer​ and​ walk-in closet. There is a small deck with a ​table and chairs overlooking the lake. Guests have access to the pier, 2 kayaks, canoe, swing, firepit, grill & gardens. ​We DO have WiFi.​​

Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. There are no cameras anywhere in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop Challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery—Badin Lake, is a twenty-minute ride. Dennis Vineyards is 8 miles away. Guests over one are an additional $15 per day per person (kids under 2 N/C a pet charge of $10 per day per animal. Pets MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. (Airbnb cannot charge the correct "daily" pet fee.) We will ask for any difference after you book.

Parrish Place is a one room Lake cabin built in 1954. Beautiful natural pine walls milled from trees on the family land. You will have access to the lake and Dock. Great fishing. Kayaks available to guest. Private Deck for that morning coffee overlooking the lake. New gas grill on the deck for guest to use. We are Pet friendly , your fur babies will enjoy swimming in the lake and so will you.
