The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

Open the front door and you will be greeted by a fantastic view of the beautiful working canal, with stunning barge boats passing daily. The long stretch of canal offers fantastic walking and cycling trails to see the beautiful views that South Wales has to offer. It boasts beautiful views and is the perfect destination to enjoy a relaxing escape to the Welsh countryside.

Bwthyn Bach (little cottage) is our beautiful, self-contained studio, boasting incredible sunset views of the Brecon Beacons and Pen-y-Fan from your bedside. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway, with patio and garden facilities accessible. Breakfast basics are included with fresh eggs from our hens when available Please be aware that this is only accessible by a single tarmac track that winds up the mountain. Access in the winter can be limited.

Old Dairy is a private self contained annex attached to a family home, Holly house (own access door). Situated down a quarter of a mile single track green lane (Not appropriate for low chassised cars). Located on a 4 acre small holding, with chickens, sheep, goats and 3 cats. Backing onto Wentwood forest. Wentwood is the perfect place to explore on foot or bicycle with public footpath access on the doorstep.
