Charming Shepherd’s Hut nr. Petersfield, Hampshire

Cosy shepherd’s hut for two in idyllic rural location in the village of Steep, near Petersfield, Hampshire. This locally built hut is nestled in a small dog safe field, with stunning views. This delightful self-contained retreat has a small foldaway double bed with bedding and towels, cooking area with single electric hob and microwave oven, and a bathroom with a flushing toilet and wash basin. There is an outside shower with hot water and outside eating area with fridge, sink and fire pit.

Laurie was in active service until September '22. Now retired from horse movement and fitted to sleep four (see photos). Wrap around deck with steps to the side living door seating area to the rear with lovely views over open countryside. Living area with mini kitchen, hot and cold water, microwave combi, two hobs, fridge & freezer compartment, table & seating for four. Log burner in living area. Fishing on farm. Double bed with an additional small single bed available for young child and an equipped kitchen. Quirky, outside shower and toilet will provide a back to basics, memorable stay. Woodland walks, 3 pubs within walking distance, a treasure hunt, pushbikes and picnic area will provide entertainment.

The hut is situated in our garden, facing our family home and there is limited outside space. The bed folds into the wall to reveal a lovely table/seating area - see below for more information about this.

Here's the 'Rambler's Retreat' A cosy off grid caravan set in a secluded spot 300 mtrs from the kennet and Avon canal towpath near Bath. It offers two double beds, a one ring cooker, a vintage washstand for victorian style body washing, 12v solar lighting and one usb charging port. Outside you have a private patio, fire bowl, summer house with shower, washup area and your own compost toilet. Wood and eggs are usually available to buy on site.
