Little Trout, Nether Wallop: an oasis of calm

Little Trout is the annex to a 17th century thatched cottage. A one-bedroom flat with fully equipped kitchen, large shower and comfortable sitting room, it is perfect for a trip to West Hampshire and the Test Valley. You will find an oasis of calm in a busy world where you can relax in comfort after an active day visiting the many sites of historic interest or admiring our beautiful local scenery. Almost all our guests have told us that the bed is the most comfortable they have ever slept in!

‘The Den’ Self contained one bedroom annexe.

This is a great spot for a midweek or weekend getaway, also ideal for professional seeking Midweek accommodation local to work. It is self contained with separate access & parking. The accommodation consists of shower room, kitchenette, double bed on mezzanine floor, lounge area,TV, fire stick, log burner, armchairs & desk. It is in the grounds of our private house with the Wallop Brook running through the garden. I do not provide breakfast but do provide complimentary,tea,coffee,milk & biscuits

The Summer House

The Summer House is a recently converted guest house, self contained with fully equipped kitchen , beautifully fitted bathroom ,double bed on the galleried mezzanine level ,accessed by ladder stairs with vaulted ceiling creating a loft style. It is fully heated ,has wi-fi , streamed TV, and ceiling speakers for streaming music. The space is modern,bright ,yet cosy. Outdoors it sits at the top of 14 acres of grounds over looking the main house. There is a private entrance and parking on site.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Less than 2.5 miles from the historic centre of Winchester, this peaceful retreat is perfect for those looking to visit the city, or escape for some peace. Just 5 minutes walk to 2 village pubs and an excellent award-winning, well stocked village shop and post office. Conveniently located to explore Iron Age forts, Stonehenge, Avebury, the bustling market town of Stockbridge, the Cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, the New Forest and the South Coast. London Waterloo is an hour by train. A perfect escape!

The Farley Hangar is a peaceful space with far reaching views of Hampshire's woodlands and the Isle of Wight. Located on our family farm and private airstrip in the Test Valley. Winchester, Romsey and Stockbridge are just 20 mins away. On the doorstep of numerous cycle routes and footpaths including the Claredon Way (Sals-Win). King size bed & full-size bath with rain shower. From your private deck with log burner you will see various wildlife species and watch the stars at night.

Unique. private & very ancient dovecote near Salisbury & Stonehenge with a fabulous swimming pool in gorgeous peaceful countryside with wonderful walks straight from the door. Beautifully furnished, very well equipped, romantic & spacious. Thick stone walls make it warm & cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as very quiet. It has an exceptionally comfortable super kingsize bed, rolltop bath, huge velvet sofa, sound system, 50" TV, fully equipped kitchen, dining area & shower room.

The Burrow is a luxury off-grid getaway, situated in a quiet spot on our 55-acre family farm. The perfect place to turn off your phone and reconnect with nature. You'll love our modern light annex which is separate to our home nestled in the heart of this popular Test Valley village. With a welcoming pub and a community shop within walking distance you have the freedom to eat out or bring provisions back to cook in the well-equipped kitchen. Whether you enjoy walking (we are midway on the Clarendon Way) cycling, fishing or fancy day trips out, Winchester Salisbury New Forest and plenty of National Trust properties are all within easy reach.

Colindale Cottage, Nether Wallop

Located between the historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury ,Colindale Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Test Valley and beyond. Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the New Forest are close by. The coast is approx and hour away. Dogs are welcome. Nether Wallop is a pretty village in the heart of the Test Valley close to the small town of Stockbridge with its independent shops and eateries. Nether Wallop featured in the Miss Marple series starring Joan Hickson.

Peaceful private annexe with far-reaching views

The first floor annexe is accessed via a covered external staircase. Home from home, cosy but spacious one bed (2 guests) accommodation with living space and kitchen. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee/evening drinks (weather allowing) with far reaching views over the Hampshire countryside. The annexe is adjacent to our home but is entirely private for guests' exclusive use. We will welcome you, and can answer any questions but we will also respect your privacy.
