The studio touts exposed wooden trusses, contemporary furnishings, polished cement flooring, fully serviced kitchen, modern bathroom and a wood fired heater (firewood provided).

Set in almost a rain forest among beautiful gardens with an abundance of wildlife. You are a 5 minute walk to McCarthys Lookout and a 5 minute drive from Mary Cairncross Reserve. 5 minutes in the other direction to Maleny Village with the wonderful shops and cafes. Parking is under cover and next to the cabin through automatic gates. The only sounds you will hear are the birds. Minimum stay is 2 nights, but if you are looking for one night please get in touch. Mirembe Cottage: 45 acres of peace

Mirembe is a Ugandan word meaning peace and tranquillity; this perfectly describes our 45 acre property. The cottage is privately set on the edge of our forest: Sit on the verandah watching the kangaroos, search the trees for koalas; at night look to the sky to see the million stars, fireflies in the creek or into the firepit flames. Take a stroll through our private trails: Nature surrounds you. Breakfast food supplied, and a few locally made frozen dinners in the freezer- but not free.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.
