Location was excellent for our purposes (in the center of the city, few minutes walking distance from the University, the market and the railway station) The host was a bit slow in responding before arrival in the UK, but issues regarding were resolved upon arrival at the airport. Overall the apartment was in good to excellent condition apart from some issues which were considered minor due to the relative short stay of 8 days. (One window was very tricky to open and close, the freezer needed some defrosting, one of the faucets had a broken drainer, no towels or sheets were changed during the length of our stay)

Fantastic stay! A lovely break from hectic life! The hot tub was perfect temperature, size with a great view The pod had everything we possibly needed and the space was used well. Great shower and kitchen facilities. Will definitely be coming back!

Highly recommend this beautiful shepherds hut. Lovely private setting and the host was fabulous and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, gave some great recommendations for local pubs and restaurants (definitely worth a visit), also checked in to see if we needed anything which was a lovely touch, along with the goodie basket which was a lovely surprise. Thank you very much for having us, we would definitely return to this beautiful spot.

We spent three nights at Sue’s farmhouse and it couldn’t be better. It is quite remote which means peace and fresh air, but also accessible to Ashbourne for food and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable (considering myself to be quite picky with beds and pillows). The kitchen is very well equipped and we had everything we need for cooking dinner. Thanks for your hospitality and we really enjoyed our stay.

We just spent 2 nights at Fred and Charlotte's glamping retreat - and what a weekend! In a peaceful and private location, the accommodation is beautifully clean, well-equipped and was absolutely perfect for our group of 14! Especially loved the hot tub, fire pit area, spacious kitchen/ dining room and the on-site bar! We even had a yoga class in the field alongside the surrounding cows and horses! I would highly recommend to any other large groups looking for somewhere to stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mutton Barn. The house was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The location was perfect: a beautiful, rural position - so quiet - all we could hear was birdsong! The views from the house were outstanding! We loved seeing the wildlife: badgers feeding on the lawn, pheasants in the garden, deer roaming across the fields and a bird of prey swooping from tree to tree as we drove up to the house on our arrival. Paul was a very friendly, obliging and helpful host - we certainly appreciated the lighting of the log burner each night. Many thanks too, Paul, for the champagne, milk and chocolates you left for us - they were much appreciated!

Just got home from a lovely, relaxing stay here. Met up with 5 friends who now live all over the country and this was a great, central location. Tom met us as we arrived and showed us how everything worked. House was clean with some quirky lamps, each bedroom had an en-suite plus kettle and cups. The hot tub was a perfect addition. Lost many an hour chatting away while sat in it. Would definitely stay again.

Sarah was a wonderful host, really unique and special space to stay. We were a small wedding hen party celebration, and it was perfect for hosting and making various cocktails / food on the fires. Loved the fires by the yurt and the outdoor kitchen too. The hot tub got quite hot quickly but I think it’s part of the charm to get the fire perfect and honestly was quite fun to try it out! Definitely a great idea to have private bathrooms, as it made the experience more comfortable. Sarah was very friendly and helpful on arrival, flexible with us and overall it was an amazing stay I’d recommend for friends or family and I’d love to come back myself.

Lots of things to love about this place. On arrival we got straight in and had been left a pint of milk which was a nice touch as we were gasping for a cuppa. Place was spotlessly clean and tidy. Loved the garden - fully enclosed and large - perfect for our 2 dogs. Beds and linen were comfortable. Showers large and good water pressure. Kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, French press, mugs, teapot, eggcups etc Clear instructions on recycling. A couple of things the host may not be aware of: The kettle turns itself on randomly - prob wants replacing as may be a fire risk. We turned it off at the plug. The kitchen knives are blunt - need either replacing or sharpening. We bought one in Tesco to use during our stay We would have appreciated bigger bath towels - not a deal breaker but we are used to bath sheets at home. The coil has come loose on the French press making it difficult to press down - may need replacing.

Fabulous thatched cottage full of character & and in a great location for visiting Rutland Water. Very peaceful and easy parking right opposite. The cottage was squeaky clean and extremely comfortable. Sweet treats from the local bakery, fresh coffee and doggy treats were a really lovely touch. Highly recommend a stay at Bee Cottage, you won’t be disappointed.

wow, I was amazed with the views, the size of kithen and dinning area, rooms, numbers of toilets! it was all what we were looking for. The energy of house itself was very positive! thank you for a lovely stay!

My third visit to Adriana's place. It is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Balsall Common has all the facilities needed for an easy stay including some great places to eat and easy access by train or road to Birmingham and Coventry. I'll be back.

I stayed at The Hayloft whilst looking for a place to rent of my own, the house became like my home and I truly enjoyed the peacefulness of the countryside and how private it felt. The house was pristine and they had a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, it was amazing to get a chance to use their place as a stepping stone. I would’ve loved to have stayed on. The hosts were extremely nice and responded to all my queries, I’ll definitely be back and would recommend them to everyone I know and don’t know!

Another great stay at Caroline's place. Very relaxing in beautiful countryside close to Foxton Locks. Great to have all the provisions especially the bacon and eggs.

We had a wonderful weekend at Clare’s place! The home was cosy, clean, and perfectly located for a weekend getaway with friends and the extra bits for the baby were very handy. Clare was a fantastic host, providing us with great recommendations - we were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the walk she suggested, which took us through some beautiful rural scenery. We also had a drink at the local pub and the well-appointed kitchen made big group meals very easy. Would absolutely stay again. The beds were also super comfy and parking for several cars was easy with extra space in front of the school nearby.

Beautiful cottage, Sat Nav brought us straight to the location no problems! Cottage was beautiful, Wendy treated us with a bottle of wine & strawberries, 🍷 🍓 The children loved the hot tub and pool, very clean and private! Wendy directed us to nice places to eat! The breakfast in the farm was beautiful, also the roast dinners were delicious! Would definitely visit again! Thankyou Sian & John

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

Had the most wonderful 3 nights in Cow Pen Cottage. Perfect location with a fantastic farm shop (Cobbs) next door selling fabulous top quality local produce to make wonderful breakfasts with. Wendy was so helpful, giving very clear instructions and points of interest to visit. The cottage is quaint & full of character but still has all the mod cons necessary. Wendy gave us a lovely warm welcome with strawberries & prosecco and chocolates by the bed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and a very welcome addition each day. There were so many attractions within a very short drive and that made Cow Pen Cottage the perfect base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. We will definately be back some day. What a beautiful and special place! So many lovely little touches and such an interesting building! The surroundings are so pretty, much wildlife and it felt like it had its own Mediterranean micro climate! Sharon & Lulu were great hosts, so helpful and responsive. Really flexible on check in and check out times and provided local recommendations. This included Fords Kitchen, we were lucky enough to have Tom provide dinner one evening. The food was delicious and beautiful, also a complete stress free treat because he knows the venue and hosts! Having a yoga studio on site was a gorgeous addition. Lulu guided us through the most magical private yoga, breath work & sound bath. I very much hope to return! ❤️🥰

We Had a Great Time! we Enjoyed the lovely warm pool And the Hot tub, the views are amazing! The cottage is really cosy, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful, we went to The Cotswold Farm Park for a day out- strongly recommended for families with small children. All in all a fabulous holiday we will definitely be coming back!
