Nice place, close to 7 Springs which we were looking for.

Cheryl was a very responsive host with a beautiful venue -- it was private and peaceful but still close to the lake and a short drive to local coffee shops, breweries, and pizza. My kids got a kick out of the lofted bunk beds an spiral staircase. It was helpful that there was onsite laundry. Would stay again!

Amazing cabin right by the river. One of the best bnbs I've stayed in. Great, communicative hosts.

My friends and I had a lovely time over the course of our stay at Dave's property. It was quaint and comfortable with everything that we needed for our short stay. Everything was clean and comfortable and the instructions we were given were very helpful to locate anything we needed in the house. The location was also very convenient to get to Seven Springs for skiing and was close to main roads but still very quiet. From the start, Dave was extremely helpful and kind! He came to greet us when we arrived and was so responsive when we needed something. It was very nice to have someone so communicative close by. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely return in the future!

We had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful place with enough towels, beds, and kitchen supplies for a friendship get away for 6 ladies. We will definitely return!

Great location for getting to 7 Springs and Hidden Valley. My wife and I took our daughter and her BF away for a nice get aways over the holidays. The house was nicely decorated for Christmas and the hot tub was great to sit in at night. Overall, this property is great and the owners were very responsive. We will be back. Brett and Stefany

My family and I stayed here to celebrate our Christmas together since we all come from different areas. This home was perfect for us. The two kitchens came in handy. The loft was wonderful and made the perfect kids hangout. The host was very responsive when we let them know of an issue with the smoke detector. They had a lovely maintenance man come out quickly to fix it and he also shoveled and iced the driveway while he was there for us. The home was very clean. The views were spectacular and with the snow it made it even better. Great place to stay!

We just returned from our trip where our Penn State son met us for a weekend getaway (an hour from State College). The house was just beautiful with charming decor that was clearly lovingly chosen. The supermarket was conveniently close by and the very well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook an Easter feast. The house was impressively clean, the beds were comfortable, there were lots of gathering areas, and we enjoyed hiking down to the lake. Jill was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bearly Believable. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishware and glasses. Really good location, easy to get to the grocery store and park (which our dog loved.) Our first trip to Deep Creek Lake was great.

Our stay was so amazing and memorable! Hosts were extremely helpful and communicative every step of the way. Very much felt safe and comfortable like a home. What a beautiful property and the woods surrounding was a sight of its own. Hoping to rent from them again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is both rustic and modern, with unique touches and a cozy feel. It had everything we needed and was close to the ski slopes. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. They reached out proactively and quickly responded to messages. We would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The space is beautiful and so peaceful! There was plenty of space for all of us and restaurants/things to do were within 5-10 minutes! Our only complaint was there were dirty dishes in the cabinets, but we had no problems throwing them in the dishwasher.

This place was so unique and fun!! We went on a sibling trip with the nephews and The kids loved finding all the nooks and crannies of the house. The nature surrounding the house is peaceful and beautiful. Jay was extremely responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again.

Our group of 13 which had 3 families with 7 kids really enjoyed this house. Our favorite part was the location to skiing. Although not officially a ski-in/ski-out, the slopes were within walking distance and much easier for our younger skiers to access. The house was clean, fully stocked and provided enough beds for our large group. Would definitely recommend bringing your 4WD vehicle if snow is predicted during your stay as the driveway is a little steep. We plan to book again for our next Hidden Valley trip!

I had a terrific stay! The property is clean, and in great shape; Melanie does a great job of keeping everything organized. The location is terrific and is as described (30 second walk to the water) and there are restaurants in very close walking distance (one to two minutes). I look forward to staying here again—thank you very much!

Lake Effect was the perfect place for our family vacation. The family enjoyed it, we spent most of our time on the dock enjoying the lake and weather, which was amazing. Since I had to work a couple of hours a day before truly vacationing, the internet was somewhat an issue until I found out that if you are streaming on Samsung, the WiFi will be very in and out... so just don't turn on the TV until you are done with work or Streaming using the WiFi. Not sure also, it could have been Comcast, seeing that they have been having issues with their internet services throughout the state and Pa. We certainly were pleased and Paul and his wife were outstanding... We will be back. The Latchford's - Greg and Helen and Family
