We really enjoyed staying here. The pool was amazing & it was great being out in the countryside a bit but still close to the Pantai Cenang. We had no problem getting grabs to and from the property.

Book this place immediately. It looks great in the listing and it is even better in real life - and much bigger than it looks in the photos. The villa is large, luxurious, private, well-located, it provides access to all of The Riyaz hotel facilities (including the gym overlooking the ocean, the restaurant, and a rooftop bar with an incredible pool/spa/bar that is especially wonderful st sunset). You’ll have your own private pool at the villa, beautiful barrooms and living area, incredible service from Mr. Cheng if you need anything, great local recommendations, and you’re walking distance from beachside water sports and nearby bars and restaurants, including an incredible seafood restaurant across the road. If you hire a car, there is parking space at the villa for you in a secure area. We loved watching the monkeys in the trees from the bedroom window in the morning when we woke up. We were 2 adults + 2 children - and we are so pleased we made the choice to stay here. It’s amazing.

We met at the langkawi ferry terminal, and he guided us to his villa with the van rental that we booked with him. Van was clean and good and there were no problems at all. The house is situated 5mins away from Kuah Town, but there is food everywhere you can't complain. Eric showed us around the house. The house was kept clean and the furnitures are in good condition. Speaking of which, the whole house is fitted with air conditioning! The 10 of us had a good home to rest in. The toilets were alright, with 2 in the first floor and 2 upstairs. The master bedroom is super spacious and has a surprise room to chill in. The kitchen is great with most utensils you need to cook for a family. And there is also a washing machine for you to use and a room to hang the clothes. Eric was great and hospitable. Definitely a host to engage with if you plan to stay in Langkawi. He organises tours as well and its a complete package. Do ask him for the best places to eat seafood and you will not regret!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful designer home in Langkawi. The host has done a great job to retrofit the 150 years old Chinese villa into a boutique private holiday home with modern comfort and luxury. We stayed in the blue room - spacious, clean and full of unique charm. This villa is located amidst quiet yet living village surrounded by greenery and nature. We enjoyed strolling down to the bay just 50 steps away to soak in the picturesque sunrise and sunset. This property is truly a tranquil and unique place to stay, relax and unwind, a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of city living. Patty and Susan are great hosts - warm, welcoming and hospitable. We love the sumptuous gourmet meals cooked by Susan especially for us. We will certainly come back again, Bravo! This villa is the most beautiful property we have stayed in Langkawi. We highly recommend it to everyone!

Rosiah's place was quiet and serene, a comfortable and cosy wooden cabin tucked away from the city. A nice and peaceful stay. Some amenities in the bathroom could be improved, but during our stay Rosiah tried her best to help us with our requests always. She went the extra mile to pick us from the airport, and when we had a minor medical emergency, she fetched us all the way from the beach to the hospital and took care of us throughout. We hope we will be back to experience their new villas once they are finished !

What a GEM of a find this place is! The heritage house is an authentic wooden kampong structure with wooden beams and high ceiling. Yet the interior were tastefully furnished and comfortable. The bedroom is very cozy and romantic with the best plush king mattress! It was like sleeping on a cloud. We love our alfresco bathroom and jacuzzi tub that came en-suite. On our last morning, we saw hornbills flying in the sky! On our last morning, a family of Dusky Leaf monkeys came visiting. They were feeding on fruit in the trees in the backyard. It was quite an experience to observe nature so close up. This place is not right in the heart of the tourist action, but it is not far from anything at all. The airport is just under 10-mins away during peak hour traffic - if that exists! The Chinese restaurant across the road was great and very reasonable. Don’t forget to check out the little roadside hut selling the best curry puff. We love the tranquility and the serenity of this little patch of paradise. A local living kampong atmosphere indeed! Patty and Jon were so helpful with suggestions and pre-arranging our activities for us, we didn’t have to lift a finger :) Did we mention you can see the sunrise and sunset from the jetty nearby?
