Swamp Camp offers a unique peaceful retreat to nature enthusiasts in the heart of Louisiana swamp country. We are at the dead end of quiet one mile road called “Happywoods.” Our camp, up on piers, is situated in the wetlands along the Tickfaw River and adjoining Tickfaw State Park. We look out onto a wilderness sanctuary with turtles, alligator, beaver and otter along with a variety of water birds and among the characters. The camp is built centered on a 300 plus year old cypress tree.

Lodge has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The Lodge is elevated 23 feet with great views of the surrounding waterways. The mid-level is a covered 1200 sq.ft. deck. A full service ice machine, propane barbecue, boiling/frying station and fish cleaning station are located on this level. A freight elevator services both levels.
