Ranger Retreat-Chimney Rock Cabin with Waterfalls!

This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a ranger retreat /fire tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+ year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you.

The cabin sits right on the North Toe River. 2 BR fully furnished cabin is so comfy and cozy with every detail thought of. The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… Fly fishing, tubing , kayaking or just relaxing watching for wildlife that happens by is a great way to spend the day. Secluded primitive cabin overlooking pond with fishing dock. Close to Linville Gorge and the Fonta Flora State Trail as well as craft breweries. After a day of hiking or mountain biking, relax on the front porch swing in the serenity of the night air. It's the perfect spot for stargazing.
