We'll start the tour by heading to a local bar where you can enjoy original seafood and other Japanese-style tapas, made with fresh ingredients sourced from all over Kyushu, paired with your choice of drink, including beer, whiskey, sake or the Kyushu favorite, shochu. Then we head to a popular, locally-loved yatai food stall. It's often difficult to know which places have the best food and value for money, but there won't be a problem with my help. These food stalls are a feature of the Fukuoka streetscape, and about half of the existing yatai in Japan are in Fukuoka City. This is a unique experience that's hard to find anywhere else in Japan. Choose from a variety of specialty foods, including Fukuoka's world famous tonkotsu ramen, made with rich pork marrow soup. *Yatai food stalls may close on strong wind, snow, or heavy rain days. In that case, we will go to an alternative location. Please understand that a Yatai food stall visit is therefore not guaranteed. *For vegetarians and those with food allergies Please let me know before booking. *Meals & drinks are not included in the tour fee. *Your tour booking will be canceled if you are more than 15 minutes late to the meet-up point. First, we walk around my neighborhood of my house to feel the local atmosphere, visit a local shrine in the forest. After that, we cook Japanese dishes (usually sushi and tempura, but can be flexible). A matcha green tea experience is also included. Other things to note: I have two cats at home, so if you are allergic to cats, please think carefully before making a reservation. Vegetarian dishes are optional. I can be flexible with the starting time of the class, so please feel free to ask me for a change in starting time.

私たちは基山（きざん）ハイキングを提供します。 かつてそこには基肄城がありました。665年、中国や朝鮮の攻撃から太宰府を守るために、天武天皇によって建てられました。 礎石と水門が今も残っています。 このエリアは、佐賀県の人々によって保護され基山公園として大切にされています。 ハイキング中に、私たちはこの土地の歴史やそこに自生する植物の種類や効能・使い方を説明します。 山頂では、日本食であるうどんをアウトドアクッキングで提供します。そして美しい景色を眺めながら休憩をします。 アクセス JR博多駅から JR鹿児島線下りに乗って、基山駅で降ります。 JR基山駅 9:40発「本山　龍光徳寺」行きのシャトルバス（無料）に乗ってください。待ち合わせは、お寺のバス停で10:00です。 帰りは、3:00発のシャトルバスでJR基山駅（3:15ごろ)に向かいます。 その他の留意事項 帽子はキャップでもハットでも構いません。雨具は防寒具にもなるので入れておきましょう。靴は、軽登山靴もしくは運動靴でお願いします。汗拭き用のタオルもご準備ください。

Located in the beautiful rural environment of Itoshima peninsula, Studio Kura is an exciting spot to meet international artists/creators. We run an artist-in-residence program where we welcome monthly about 8 artists who stay and work for their own art practice. During this experience you'll be able to have a look at each artists shows that are located in different spots (all very close each one of other) and you'll be able to meet them and get to know their work. Finally, we'll enjoy an art workshop that will be held from one of residence artists each month. *Please note that the content is subject to change, depending on the time. You’ll join our local Fukuoka host on a whirlwind experience of the city’s most iconic central districts. Travel through time, from ancient temples and shrines, like Tōchō-ji and Kushida, to ultra-modern streets around Naka River, where you’ll join stylish locals sipping flannel drip coffee (a Japanese specialty) at hipster Cafe Bimi. You’ll start your journey at the beautiful Ohori Park where you’ll find scenic views, ancient trees and a variety of indigenous fauna and flora. A stroll through Ohori Park will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to discover the vibey Daimyo district to the west of Tenjin Station. Flanked with vintage shops and trendy restaurants, Daimyo district is home to some of Fukuoka’s best bars and cafés. Mingle with the hipsters, peruse vintage treasures and buy an original outfit from one of the many vintage shops and designer boutiques in the area. Afterwards, your host will take you to Yanagibashi market where you’ll find the finest fresh fish that Fukuoka has to offer. Walk along the 120-meter-long arcade and be amazed by the variety of stores. Hungry? You don’t want to miss out on Fukuoka’s rich tonkotsu ramen – and your host knows just the best place to get it. Your host will also show you where the Yatai food stalls pop up during the evening should you want to come and explore the area a second-time round during the evening.

Nanzoin, located in the town of Sasaguri just outside of Fukuoka city, is the main temple of the Sasaguri Shikoku 88 Sacred Sites. The main attraction here is the giant Shaka Nehanzo, one of the largest bronze Buddhas in the world. The statue is in the form of a reclining Buddha, and is 41 meters long, 11 meters tall and weighs 300 tons! It also contains relics of the original Buddha. The scale of this statue is something that you can only appreciate with your own eyes. The temple itself is also a special head temple of Koyasan Shingon Buddhism, so there are lots of other buildings and areas to explore. You can walk around while taking in the rich natural scenery of Sasaguri. This is a relaxing tour that anyone can enjoy. ※Note that due to recent changes in Nanzoin’s visitor regulations, large groups of 8 or more require prior permission and a Japanese-speaking guide. Therefore, if you intend to come as a group, please give 3 days’ notice of your booking. In any case, I would be more than happy to be your guide and interpreter for the day.

This the Route D. In this route we will visit beautiful Japanese garden and historic shrine, and then come to a local shopping street of long time popularity. At last we go to explore the biggest seafood market in Fukuoka city. ① Rakusui’en garden: a Japanese garden built 100 years ago. Now a good place to enjoy Japanese traditional macha in its tea room. ② Sumiyoshi shrine: a famous and historic shrine that offering the god of sumo, Japanese national sport. The grand statue of Japanese wrestler in traditional dress and the arena is very worthy visiting. ③ Sun Road shopping street: .greengrocers,fruits store, butchers, cloth store, In the street you always can find reasonable price. ④ Yanagibashi seafood market: The biggest seafood market inside the city and that’s why it is called Hakata kitchen. The market mains in seafood, having more than 50 shops. To discover the rare fish here is always interesting. Route D is open at 2:00 pm. every Friday and Saturday. 10:00 JR篠栗駅に集合します。 南蔵院に行って、世界一のブロンズでできたブッダを参拝する。 胎内巡りをしましょう。 そこから、若杉山登山をします。 休憩時間を含めて、往復約４時間かけてゆっくりと歩きます。 山頂にある「奥の院」を参拝します。 その寺は、山頂まで歩いた者で且つ綺麗な心の者のみ入ることができます。 その審判の門である巨石をくぐるのに心踊ることでしょう。 その他の留意事項 雨天時は日程変更できます。 あなたの体力に合わせて、歩く時間やコースを調整いたします。
