Cabin, one hour drive from Tromsø

3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. One bedroom on the ground floor(bed 120 cm). Two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom 1: (both beds 90 cm). Bedroom 2: (one bed 150 cm, one 90 cm, one 75 cm). Floorheating in bathroom and living room. Any type of heating is included in the rent. The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house. 
If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

Two-Bedroom Cottage. Location with nice garden. Nature in the immediate vicinity. 13 kilometers from Senja and Finnsnes city. Two hours drive by car from Tromsø. NOTE: The bedrooms are very small. Just a little bigger than the beds. There is a water pump in the bathroom that makes some noise when you drain water. It is otherwise quiet. Bedroom 1 has 150cm bed and bedroom 2 has a 120cm bed. Lite og koselig anneks, med akkurat det du trenger for å overnatte. Det ligger fredelig og landlig til på Sommarøy, rett ved stranda. Stranda er flott for små spaserturer både sommer og vinter. Lite lysforurensning, så perfekt for å nyte nordlyset. Annekset har en god dobbelseng og vindu med utsikt til havet. Det er et lite bad, med dusj, vask og toalett. Der er en liten gang for å henge av seg, kjøleskap der du kan oppbevare litt mat og vannkoker for å koke litt kaffe eller te.

Rakkebu, 25 km from Tromsø city

Only 23 km from the airport in Tromsø. Built in 2007. Perfect conditions for watching aurora borealis because you are well away from the lights of the city. Many aurora guids bring guests to this area. If you are very lucky you can also watch killer whales (orcas) from the beach just below the cottage. Reindeers and other animals also live in this area.

Charming cabin - Senja

The cabin is located on the north side of Senja, surrounded by lovely nature and posibillities for numerous hikes in the area. The cabin is well equipped and is a perfect base for exploring Senja by foot, bicycle or car. You can drive to the door and park right outside. Very quiet area with a nice scenery to the fjord and mountains.

Småbakkan

Koselig hytte ved mektige fjell med utsikt utover Kaldfjorden. Om sommeren er det fine fiskemuligheter i nærheten, mange flotte fjell å bestige og kort vei til strand. Småbakkan er dessuten et populært sted for klatrere, det finnes mange store steiner i området å klatre på. Fra flyplassen tar det 30 minutter å kjøre hit.

Cosy cabin by the sea. Located in a calm area containing family cabins. A perfect area for watching the Northern lights with no distraction from cars and neighbours. Only peace and quiet. You can drive your car right up to the cabin where you can easily park. In the winter i recommend a 4wd car because of a steep road
