We found this place while randomly browsing on airbnb to stay near didupe falls. Shiva spoke to us after we booked this place and since then we were amazed by his hospitality and the way he guided us to reach his place. The place is well located inside the forest with excellent scenic views and you can hear the sound of water flowing from his stay. Shiva’s knowledge of the surroundings is simply superb and this stay is a must if you are someone who wants to explore things without having a fixed plan or schedule. The icing on the cake is the food along with those random conversations with Shiva which you won’t forget for sometime. I recommend this to anyone looking for a place in this area and to others who is confused about to where to spend your weekend away from Bangalore :D

Great place for a quiet weekend with family, friends. Mathew and wife is very hospitable and made us feel right at home. The surrounding with spices, vegetables and fruits are refreshing and the music of nature made a relaxing and wonderful experience for us.

Had a great stay. Veena was very responsive and the caretaker was quite helpful. the caretaker arranged everything properly from bonefire to kitech utensils and helping with getting a few last minute groceries from nearby shop. Overall, we had a blast. Highly recommended

Our family had a great time at Shaji's place. The hospitality was amazing and the food even better :) They were extremely responsive to all our needs, including for our little daughter. It is a great place to relax. We enjoyed all the hammocks, chilling out amongst trees, walking by the nearby fields and the beautiful boat ride. It was just what we needed to have a restful break!

I would like to commend Jagan on maintaining such a wonderful property. I had the best two days while I was there. The food was amazing. Must go place for al you solo travel enthusiasts.

The campsite is as shown in the pictures, more pretty with the lights at night. The location is off beat, away from the main Yercaud which some like and some may not prefer. We loved the location and the estate it was in. The private estate had its own path to take a short trek early in the morning. The caretakers provide food if informed before hand, the quantity is more than sufficient though it ends up a bit expensive. Overall, the camp was comfortable to sleep in and the campfire gives pretty good warmth and the stay was one that we enjoyed and would recommend!
