The Yurt at Frog Pond Farm

Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

This is a shabby-chic art-studio cabin. It has a stunning walk-in shower w/ an under-water mural mosaic. There are mosaic doors & windows throughout the space. This space shares a common wall with my mosaic art studio. There are 2- sweet Aussie shepherds and 2- domestic cats on the property. Guests are welcome to eat meals on the back deck or beautiful gardens. There is a private shower, sink & composting toilet in cabin. New kitchenette recently added. Would like a long-term day-shift renter.

Connect with nature in this unforgettable farm setting. Take in serene views from the deck or walk around to enjoy a variety of sweet animals including sheep, horses, goats, alpacas, emus, cows, ponies and more. The space is a fully furnished apartment in an adorable stone cabin with one queen bedroom, kitchen, full bath, laundry, high speed Wi-Fi, and outdoor hot tub. Pasture may be suitable to horses who won't jump the fence and can get along with 3-4 heifers.
