The Combe is a coast and country escape. It is a self-contained annex, part of our family house accessed from an external staircase. Located in the picturesque village of West Down, just 4 miles from the surfing beach of Woolacombe and a short drive to Croyde and Ilfracombe Harbour. The annex provides an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life. West Down has an amazing pub with good food a village shop 3 mins walk away and easy access to the South West Coast path and Exmoor.

The Tarka Suite

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

We overlook the harbour and has fabulous views of it and Damien Hurst's Verity. Watch the ships, fishing boats and occasionally dolphins! Ilfracombe's bars and restaurants only a five minute walk away too.. You’ll love my place because the apartment is tastefully furnished and has a really spacious light feel to it.We provide most things to help your stay be an enjoyable one. The rear courtyard hides a secret sunny garden complete with table and chairs perfect for alfresco dining and a secluded hot tub. The top floor bedrooms have water views either of the harbour or the Bristol Channel, and our garden room has space for wet gear, boards and bikes! Dogs are welcome.

The entire space is step free and is easily accessible for people with limited mobility.
