Get away from London, breathe countryside air, travel to/from the Continent. Dover is only a 30mints.

Being one of the original fishermen's cottages on Dungeness, Seaview Cottage has been lovingly restored to cater for modern needs yet still maintain it's old charm with the original wood panelled interior throughout. It is perfectly situated with sea views to the front and the wild shingle beach known as 'The Desert of England' all around you. The famous RHDR miniature steam railway runs just a few strides from your front door and the Dungeness National Nature Reserve stretches out behind you.

A beautiful renovation with wool carpets, handmade kitchen and top-end appliances, its scrumptious dark green bathroom with walk-in shower, roll-top bath and plaster walls. The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Deal town is about 10 mins drive away and has a wealth of shops and restaurants. Great market on Saturdays

Our Idyllic cottage which is set in the country side overlooking the north downs, which offers two guest accommodation. It is separate from the main family home which offers a cosy/secluded space with an open-plan kitchen and living area. It is a relaxing place to spend many an hour watching the wildlife and enjoying the sights and sounds of Kent We have installed for your enjoyment day & night vision cameras so you can watch the birds and ducks by day and badgers and foxes at night.

Homely interior with a calm feel. Surrounded by fields and sheep. Ideal for families. The main bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed. The room upstairs has two singles which can also be a double, ideal for children and young adults. The door to this room is an old French slatted shutter. There is a shower room with a loo on the ground floor. The kitchen, dining and living area is on the ground floor with a TV and warming gas fire. There is a double sofa bed in the living area.

Built in 1630 The Old Granary Barn looks on to one of Kent's last working windmills. It's on the Minnis, where cattle and sheep graze. An idyllic and tranquil spot, 8 miles from the historic city of Canterbury. The Old Granary Barn is only 500m from a great pub and a very friendly, well stocked village shop which has everything you may need during your stay. The windmill is open every Sunday and bank holidays throughout the summer for guided tours and cream teas.
