The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as described in the listing. The decor was cozy and welcoming, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay — including a fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and fast Wi-Fi. The location was perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet just a short drive from local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear instructions and great local tips. One of the highlights was the outdoor space — perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We loved our stay at Andrew's cottage! It had everything we needed and was really homely and cosy. The surrounds were absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We really enjoyed exploring the farm and getting to feed the sheep as well. Generous provisions left, including chocolate and marshmallows which we toasted in the outdoor fire pit. It's close to Bathurst and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Thanks a lot Andrew!

Other than we were asked to pay extra price each for bed sheets, but there were some on the bed already ? However other than that we had a fabulous time staying in Shoal Bay. The house is in a prime location very easy accessible, parking right outside the property. The area is fabulous walking distance to some lovely bars and beaches. Comfortable beds .How was very clean , Couldn’t fault the house.

The bungalow was presented in an excellent condition with lots of goodies. The views from the lake side along with the walks were brilliant. Definitely a place we recommend for anyone to visit the Lake Macquarie district. Susie was an excellent host and after introducing herself left is to do our thing, catching up with my daughter. Thanks Susie!

This is a terrific little place. It's actually better than the photos, particularly the front deck which has a large dining table and modular lounge which are perfect for outdoor living. It's spotlessly clean and in a lovely quiet location within easy walk of several beaches and cafes. The 'welcome treats ' were a nice surprise. Unfortunately it was quite wet during our stay but would love to stay again.

We loved our mini get away at Mudgee. The house was comfortable and homely. We will definitely be back!

Nice quiet bungalow. Comfy beds. Great shower 🚿 Lounge suite and chairs quite small so larger/tall people it might be an issue as not that comfy/plush to sit on. Large TVs in each room which was great. No access to regular TV stations though. The host is very responsive. We enjoyed our Easter eggs and Pringle extras 👌

Fantastic experience! Julie and her husband were super warm and friendly, our favourite hosts for our NSW trip! It was supsr easy to find and Julie's communication was great. The accommodation was spotless and well appointed, it felt just like home. The house is surrounded by lush trees and we even spotted a couple tawny frog mouths, but the highlight for our trip was getting to see two womats! Would definitely stay again! Our young guest is very excited to see if she can spot a wild koala next stay! Thanks for an amazing stay!
