We had our family Christmas here and it was very memorable. No issues with the house. We wish we could of enjoyed the porches more than the one warm afternoon we spent out there. They made a good size house even larger and everyone enjoyed all the places we could hang out in different family groups. We really appreciated the kid gates at the top of each stairs. Our family had no worries about our toddlers or three year old. The driveway is very steep but everyone made it up and back down with no problem. We went with putting just one car in the driveway at a time and two down the street. The walk is short and there is the entrance to a park/trail on the way that we all enjoyed at some point. Thanks.

The house and location were absolutely beautiful! The pictures really don't do it justice! Everything is prestinely clean and the peacefulness you feel just from walking in can't be matched! The views cannot be captured just as you see them but I did my best to try. We even purchased a couple of fishing poles to do a little fishing right innthe back yard. And when I had a couple of questions for the host, they responded in mere minutes with friendly and clear responses. We will definitely make a repeat visit to this beautiful home. If you've been scrolling for awhile trying to find the right spot, just stop! This is THE place!!!

This makes our second time staying at Amanda’s place. It has been such an ideal spot for my family while visiting our kids at WCU. I truly can’t say enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful neighborhood look no further! We love it!

The house was perfect for a larger group, plenty of space if you needed to be alone. Gorgeous view of the lake and very convenient to the highways. The bathrooms, kitchen and open floor areas were clean but perimeter of the rooms and under the furniture needed to be swiffered. Vacasa offered to come in and do that but I declined as we were halfway through our stay. We were there over Christmas and I was cooking for the crowd so I would have liked some decent serving bowls (not plastic) and do bring your own knives if you plan to cook. I would definitely stay there again.

This was one of the best Airbnbs that we have stayed at in the recent years. Kathleen was an excellent host and we had an excellent time! When the area was impacted by the recent hurricane, Kathleen did a great job informing us of the status of the house and area and how things were looking. The house was spotless and had lots of little touches to help make it special (like the cute little welcome gift bag and treats for the dogs). The area on the lake was beautiful and we spend some great time sitting out with the dogs in the Adirondack chairs, enjoying the view. Kathleen was very accommodating and supported us with a last-minute change of plans. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to our friends and will be looking forward to returning some day in the future!

The place is exactly as described. Very close to WCU and worked out great during move in day. Relaxing place to stay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Brian’s on Lake Junaluska. Family of 7 and there was plenty of room for the kids . I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes etc for cooking. Cozy and felt just like home . Thanks again .

Lovely, homey place in beautiful surroundings. Loved all the windows, the gas logs and the front porch. Very short easy walk to the lake. I will definitely stay here again on return trips to Lake Junaluska.

Great location - a very short walk to the lakeside trail. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Alice and Philip were very responsive.

Carolyn's place is cozy and clean. Beautiful house with a pretty view. Carolyn is very courteous and helpful. She allowed us to checkout late despite 10 am check out and provided a pack and play without even us requesting one.

The space was bigger than we expected and works out really well for our needs. The host was very responsive and helpful. There is a 3 ring binder with all the info about the area.

We had a nice stay here. Sharon was friendly and very easy to get in touch with. Close to all Lake Junaluska has to offer.

This is a great spot for a family of four. The beds were comfortable. The space was big enough to spread out a little bit. The view from the deck is great as well. If you don't mind being 30 minutes away, this is a great place to stay while visiting Asheville. It's about an hour from Looking Glass Falls too. It's also a beautiful drive to the Tail of the Dragon from here. If you're coming from Raleigh this makes for a much shorter drive home after spending a day driving near the Dragon.

logement bien situé, endroit calme et paisible au bord du lac Junaluska. Le lac est très beau entouré de montagnes. Waynesville est à côté avec tous les magasins nécessaires, l'accès à la blueridge parkway est à quelques minutes , parfait pour profiter de la vue sur les montagnes. Cherokee n'est pas loin et c'est appréciable de pouvoir rencontrer une nouvelle culture non européenne dans ce pays. le logement est propre et bien équipé, la terrasse est clairement un point positif. Le jardin est très beau avec beaucoup de fleurs. C'est un bon travail. Carolyn et son mari sont très gentils et très réactifs. Le dialogue est facile et les explications sont claires. J'espère revenir en automne afin de voir les couleurs de la forêt.

This cozy place is truly a gem. You cannot beat the location — we walked around Lake Junaluska every day. The house was well-decorated, comfy and had lots of amenities. The host even included a bottle of wine and snacks! The back deck is a great place to start the morning with a cup of tea of coffee. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

This is our third stay. We love coming here. Love the house and location. Always pristine clean and quick to respond if anything comes up. Near all our favorite things to do.

Brian, David and I will defiantly come back to stay again. We love Lake Junaluska and your location is perfect for easily jumping over to downtown Waynesville, the lake or Maggie Valley. As I mentioned in our conversation, you guys did an amazing job with the renovation bringing this sweet little house back to something very special. We felt very much at home instantly and the directions you provided made the check in and out seamless. The house was very clean and I very much appreciated the little touches of items provided in the kitchen. I would also note, the little notes on how to use the fireplace and other items were tastefully done and left no room for questions. With two full living spaces on different levels, there was great privacy and yet it had the perfect living area to gather and eat together. Within walking distance to the lake, gift store, community pool and rec center, as well as a couple of restaurants. House had everything you will need to relax and enjoy your time away from home. Hosts were very communicative and thoughtful in their touches with snacks and candies (loved by the kids), as well as items for coffee and tea, as well as a hand written note. Highly recommend!
