A stunning 2 bedroom rural getaway, a complete luxury countryside retreat perfectly located for exploring the local area, including a 15 minute walk to James May’s renowned pub and located only 2 miles from the village of Tisbury with all local amenities and a train station with direct links to London Waterloo. This charming cottage boasts two large bedrooms, one super king and one king along with a beautiful bathroom, downstairs shower room and picturesque gardens to enjoy with green egg bbq.

Beautiful country barn/peaceful location

Our double height wood and stone barn directly opposite our house is found at the end of a long private drive in lovely Dorset countryside. A very comfortable 5ft bed, woodburning stove and pretty views, a perfect relaxing and cosy retreat. Easy access to lots of interesting places. Guests can play tennis and croquet. The Barn sleeps two adults. Ample parking directly next to Barn. Please note the Barn unsuitable for children and infants. NB There are no shops or pubs within walking distance.

Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

'Bumbles' is the perfect place to provide easy access to a wealth of attractions, whether it be the newly re-opened Compton Airfield, famous Gold Hill and Shaftesbury Abbey, Breezy Ridge Vineyard, Stonehenge or even a day out at the beach! Guests are also offered discount on treatments at the onsite beauty studio, and are welcome to relax in the adjoining orchard.

Ideal for both families and small groups of friends.There is ample off road parking in front of the property. Sitting and eating areas on the veranda and a large lawn for children to run and play. Perfect for rest, relaxation and as a base to explore the South West and the English Countryside. Or simply sit on the veranda and enjoy our amazing views and visiting wildlife.

Welcome to peace and relaxation in my Grade II listed cottage in historic Shaftesbury. The self-catering cottage is in a unique gated courtyard near the foot of Gold Hill and is within a short walk of the town centre and a local pub. It is compact and therefore suitable for singles and couples (I do not accept 3rd party bookings), and we also welcome well-behaved pets. You will have use of a private enclosed garden a short walk from the cottage, and on-street parking is available nearby.

Set in a delightful, small private garden with a covered outside seating/dining area, the cottage offers light and airy open plan living space with lovely views over the garden and paddocks.

Wake up to the divine sound of rich birdsong- this one bedroom studio is exceptionally comfortable and has a peaceful, stylish atmosphere. It is separate to the main house so you have total privacy and the whole space is yours to be enjoyed. Underfloor heating makes it gloriously warm and inviting, the linen sheets are of the finest quality, and it is in a beautiful valley which has an unusual amount of song birds and owls. It has been designed with peace and comfort in mind.
