Provided free to guests is a single parking permit for Mevagissey Harbour car park, located a level walk of less than 2 minutes from your apartment. With its location adjacent to the harbour and in the centre of the village, Grade 2 listed Quayside has had a fascinating and diverse past. Over the course of its more than two centuries nestled between the centre of the village and the harbour it has served as a pilchard press, net loft, doctor's surgery and even as the premises of the local undertaker! Following extensive recent renovation it has been transformed into chic, comfortable and spacious apartments that showcase the character of the building. The superking bed, which can be converted into twin beds upon request, is topped off with high quality linen guaranteeing a luxurious night's sleep. All apartments possess full kitchen facilities including Nespresso coffee machines, free WiFi, TVs in living rooms and all bedrooms, and Amazon Echo devices. The generously proportioned wet rooms contain rain and handheld showers and heated towel rails, whilst fluffy white towels are provided. Fully centrally heated. Guests have access to a laundry room with washer and dryer. We generally stay in the same building and, when there, are available to assist you or try to answer any questions you may have during your stay. This apartment is located in Quayside, one of Mevagissey's most prominent and historic heritage buildings, with direct and level harbour access. With its pubs and shops set in cobbled streets, this is an archetypally charming Cornish fishing village. Getting around is particularly easy out-of-season when smaller crowds and quieter roads make trips a breeze, and journeys to places as pretty as Penzance, Padstow, Perranporth and Polperro are perfectly possible in just a day! Popular destinations like Fowey (30 minutes), Newquay (45 minutes), Falmouth (50 minutes) and Truro (35 minutes) are always worth a visit. The seasonal Mevagissey - Fowey ferry (www.Mevagissey-ferries.co.uk) provides a fun and practical alternative to the busy holiday traffic and parking. St Austell (15 minutes) has a wide selection of supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) as well as the nearest mainline train station. With plenty to see and do, and a great base for exploring further afield, Mevagissey is far more than just a summer destination. Hope to see you soon. Unloading is directly outside on Middle Wharf, Fore Street or on the harbour in front of the Wheel House pub. Extra storage area on ground floor available for bikes and prams. Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced garden with barbecue and fire pit for star gazing.

Sandy Feet Retreat is a basic,clean,warm caravan situated in the front garden of our house,Pine Ridge. It sleeps two,in a double bed,plus a child in the seating area. There is a kitchenette. All with sea views. There is a small bathroom, with a basin, shower, and cassette toilet (emptied and refilled each day by ourselves.) All bedding is provided. It is not perfect, but it is clean and dry,comfy and quiet with stunning views. It has a one ring electric hob(no grill/oven) microwave and fridge.

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
