Castle Cottage is situated adjacent to our family home, which has the historic Llanddew Palace (residence of Gerald of Wales) within its grounds. Located 1 mile north of the market town of Brecon and within the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. Own parking & private small courtyard. Accessed via a shared driveway. Three bedrooms (2 doubles and a single), fully furnished kitchen, lounge & 2 bathrooms (1 shower, 1 bath). WiFi, linen and towels inc. Cot & high chair available. No pets.

An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

Based on a beef and sheep farm, just 8 miles from Builth Wells, 14 miles from Hay-on-Wye and 15 miles from Brecon. It is in a sunny, scenic, rural spot. Access to numerous footpaths, only a 10 minute hike to join the Wye Valley Walk. 10 minute drive or a scenic walk to local rural pub. At night sit around your fire pit where you can cook supper, toast marshmallows, listen to the owls and as the light fades, have your breath taken away by the star filled skies.
