Take a breather in the fenced-in, alfresco courtyard attached to this newly renovated guest suite. Unit has black out curtains so you can sleep in late, USB chargers next to each side of the bed, great AC/heater and private courtyard. Neighborhood is walkable - two miles from the French Quarter and one mile from City Park. Across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course (Jazz Fest), corner market, Catty Shack (best tacos in NOLA), Jockey’s Pub (great neighborhood bar), and Toast Fairgrounds (amazing breakfast spot). ½ mile walk or ride to Liuzza's by the track, Swirl wine shop, Fair grinds coffee shop, Café Degas, Lola, Santa Fe Restaurant (best margaritas in town), Terranova Market and Conseco’s Market. You will have access to your private courtyard and the entire suite. We will be available for most guest check-ins and welcome you to hang with us on our porch under the large oak tree with a cool beverage. There are so many wonderful places in this city and we enjoy making recommendations based on your interests. The suite is situated across the street from the Fairgrounds Race Course, where Jazz Fest is held, the corner market, and Catty Shack, which has the best tacos in NOLA. The neighborhood is close to the French Quarter and City Park. Free street parking. There are always spaces available except during Jazz Fest. During this time, you can park in our driveway. If the location isn't enough, you can rest easy knowing that you'll be resting easy in our brand new King-sized bed, fitted with a new Robin Mattress and Pottery Barn sheets. The queen-sized pullout couch is also a Robin mattress with Pottery Barn sheets. The rest of the apartment is decorated with West Elm, Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped, should you need a respite from all the delicious restaurants nearby. The foyer of the building and the hallway to the apartment are all indoors and are public space for the building's residents and guests. The inside of the apartment has everything you'll need for your stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, a breakfast nook and a washer and dryer. We cannot stress this enough to our guests... please contact us if you need anything at all! We want to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Also, we can answer any general questions about the neighborhood pertaining to restaurants, bars, etc. The apartment is just three blocks from the French Quarter and near to the Arts/Warehouse District. This neighborhood is riding the wave of gentrification that is spreading throughout the city, hosting many of the city's top restaurants and bars. For the parts of the city to which you can't walk, our building also enjoys the convenience of being located on one of the city's street car lines. Uber and Lyft are also available throughout the city and for airport transfers.

You will be given the access code to keys with your reservation. The front porch, laundry room and back yard are shared. The remainder is private.
