The lodge has many eco-friendly features and is surrounded by lawns and a large organic vegetable garden. A shepherds track leads directly onto the mountain for exhilarating walks and views. Newport town is just a 15 minute walk down the lane and is renowned as the pearl of the Pembrokeshire coastline. Bwythyn Afon (River Cottage) is situated on our small holding at the foot of the Preseli Mountains and is a short drive from Pembrokeshire's beautiful coastline with its many beaches and the famous coastal path. With its separate entrance, own parking space and sole use of riverside patio, it truly is a place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

Just minutes from Newport and the coast, set in remote fields and woods, with a view straight out to the Preseli Mountain and the site of the Stonehenge blue stones. This little shingle-clad, south-facing, 3-bedroom timber frame lodge is cosy and warm. It's vintage but newly refurbished, perfect for two couples or a small family. There’s an open fire, fenced garden and lots of nature and wildlife all around. Pet friendly - but not in carpetted areas. Sea views are just up the lane.

Delightful and homely Newfoundland Cottage

Our super cosy cottage has free off road parking and is situated in the foothills of the Preseli's with easy access to walks. Ancient monuments and beaches can also be found within 20 minutes by car. The cottage has a double bedroom with a sumptuous Hypnos mattress, plus a sofa bed in the living room if needed. The modern bathroom has a large shower but no bath. The newly fitted kitchen has a washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with icebox and Bosch oven and hob.
