This 1940 brick farm house was built by my grandfather and tobacco was grown for years. He owned and operated the White Swann Trading Post and grill until his passing. We consider ourselves fortunate and enjoy sharing the beauty and wonder of this place with our family and now you. Today it is in transition from being an active sheep farm. In addition to nice walking and outdoor hangout spots on the 83 acres there is a 9 acre lake where you may enjoy fishing and non motorized boating! Welcome!

The Elk Cabin sleeps 4. There is a loft that a child could sleep in making it possible to sleep 5. It is handicap accessible. Hand-built on our 300-acre Sweet Valley Ranch, it features a deck directly over the water and access to 350+ animals, stocked ponds, trails, playground, and a Cape Hatteras replica lighthouse. Enjoy golf cart & ATV rentals. Our Dinosaur World, NC’s largest permanent dinosaur attraction, is open seasonally (June–August). Peaceful, family friendly, and full of adventure.
