Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Vergiss deine Sorgen in unserem Sommerhaus. Es liegt 5 Minuten von der Hornbæk Plantage und 10 Minuten zu Fuss vom Strand. Dort gibt es im Sommer eine Badebrücke (Ellekildehage badebro). Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und das Grundstück ist komplett eingewachsen, so dass man hier einen völlig ungestörten Urlaub verbringen kann. Das ganze Haus ist in skandinavischem Stil eingerichtet, seit diesem Sommer mit Kaminofen. Eine große, überdachte Holzterasse lädt bei jedem Wetter zum Essen im Freien.

In addition, you will have your own exit to Gilbjergstien, with direct access to the city and hiking trails along the sea. Leave your car. You won't need it anymore. The cottage is in walking distance to everything in Gilleleje. Enjoy the quiet evenings and watch the big ships sail by.

The old barbershop by the monastery

Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Gribskov offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. Esrum monastery is placed 100meter from the house, and offers museum and different activities. In the daytime there are a Café serving light dishes. Nearest grocery store is in the next village, 3km away.

Charming guesthouse

Lovely year-round insulated guesthouse, of approx. 17 m², with lots of charm, located in the middle of Gribskov, 6 km outside Hillerød. Here is room for 2 people with a large room with double bed, dining area and open kitchen with burner and the possibility of light cooking. In addition, there is a nice little bathroom with underfloor heating and a shower. The house is perfect for a romantic get-away or as a writing den if you need peace and quiet a few days for contemplation.

Møbler er nøje udvalgt med fokus på bæredygtighed. Der er valgt tekstiler i økologiske materialer. Haven er stor og smuk og der er meget kort afstand til havet.

Kun 8 minutters gang fra en af Danmarks dejligste badestrande ligger mit nyopførte sommerhus. (Sommer 2020). Der er alt hvad man kan ønske sig med 3 skønne træterrasser, så man har mulighed at følge solen fra tidlig morgen til sen aften, samt udebad, udekøkkenen og endda en shelter hvis man vil tættere på naturen.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim.
