We have just arrived home after Staying in fergals beautiful holiday home 21st/28th Dec The house was spotless clean and there was a Christmas tree and decorations all around, a huge bottle of prosecco and some gorgeous biscuits It's such a warm, comfortable house, very peaceful and in a lovely quiet little cul-de-sac, the neighbours were very friendly and helpful too. There is an amazing kitchen with every utensil you could ever think of, 2 beautiful bathrooms, we could not fault anything. If you have children ( we don't) it's perfect, a very safe secure garden and a room off the kitchen with lots and lots of toys and games, A shop that sells everything is a few minutes walk away. There isn't anything to do in the village, but everything is only 30 minutes or less drive away, and omg, there are some absolutely gorgeous places to visit, we looked through all the information left for guests, used our sat nav and was out all day every day We definitely would love to return!!!

We had a perfect stay at the lodge! Beautiful property with equally beautiful surroundings. It’s well equipped and lovely to have use of hot tub, bbq etc! Lots of nice places to walk for food and drinks. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay - thank you!

A wonderful house to stay in, me and my friends had the best time! The house was immaculate and Alex was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, with lots of useful information cards/books in the house too!

This is such a great place I almost don’t want to write such a glowing review as it means we’ll end up with less dates to choose from for our return visit 🤣. Such a beautiful house, the photos don’t do it justice and Kate and Jonathan were wonderful hosts. The beach is right on your doorstep, it was perfect for morning walks with the dog, and lazy afternoons watching the sea merge into the sky from the patio seating.

What an amazing place, Seasalter Cabin provided us with a “home” to stay for 4 days. There were lots of options if you want to eat out, or cook! We love your kitchen and that dining table. Feeling energised and chilled afterwards. Thank you!

4 couples, had a great weekend at Eider Cottage. Only one parking place allocated, but plenty of visitor places nearby. The house was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We kicked off our shoes and completely relaxed. Being directly on the lake was wonderful and we enjoyed using the Kayaks to explore the other side. Saw many varieties of birds. The Spa is a short walk away. We booked the day before, and had a lovely time using the 3 pools. We did a lot of walking around the beautiful lakes and 2 of us brought their bikes. The on site Property Managers, Liam & Pete were on hand and had excellent communications. We would highly recommend Eider Cottage and hope to return to Lower Mill Estate in the near future.

My stay at Foxt Cottages was nothing short of spectacular! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with rolling hills and lush greenery providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. The private swimming lake was a highlight, offering serene views and a refreshing dip right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it easy to unwind. For our little one, the activities were a hit—plenty of outdoor fun to keep them entertained while we soaked in the peaceful vibe. The hosts were warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with stunning landscapes and family-friendly amenities, Foxt Cottages is a must-visit! We’re already planning our next stay.

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

What can I say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date! This place is perfect, you are in the middle of fields, with lambs everywhere, your own private loch that has kayaks available to use (great fun!), a secure garden to let the dogs roam freely. The house itself is bigger than the images seem, we had plenty of space for four adults, a toddler and three dogs. They provided a cot and high chair which is a great help. There’s a huge boot room which is great to throw off your coat and walking boots, and give the dogs a towel dry after a walk. Beds were perfectly comfortable, a cosy log fire, plenty of hot water in the showers, what more could you ask for! The house felt more like a home than a rental and we are already planning our next trip. The hosts were friendly and available for any questions you may have. My daughter didn’t want to come inside, she was obsessed with the sheep and being in the garden! only issue was signal for the firestick/ phones was poor but not an issue.

We loved staying at Greenlands Barn. the cottage was beautifully laid out and was warm and comfortable, Sarah made sure we had everything we needed. We used it as a base to enjoy the local area and to go on the West Somerset Steam railway. We saw a kingfisher and enjoyed a beautiful paddle up the river in the canoe. This Air b n b is highly recommended and other family members are interested in booking. Thank you Sarah

We had a lovely long weekend at Janet's place. We were welcomed with a basket of lots of goodies. Janet was very accommodating, finding enough high chairs/ cots for 3 babies to stay! The park over the lane was perfect for the older kids, and the location was great to access the South lakes.. lake Windermere being just 10mins or so away 😊

We had an amazing few days in Plymouth staying at David’s place. The cottage was spotless and very cosy, with a great location. The views were stunning and we would definitely book again. David was a great host, very responsive, friendly and helpful ;)

Thank you for providing such a beautiful, peaceful, and inspiring sanctuary for people to enjoy this wonderful area. The check-in process was effortless, with the key conveniently left on the door—completely hassle-free. Booking the boat with Rob was straightforward, and his clear, brilliant demonstration made it easy for us to operate the boat independently. A big thanks to Jonathon and Rob for making our experience so seamless and enjoyable!

A gorgeous bolt hole for three weeks of blissful walks and peace. The private access to the lake was great for us as swimmers; easy to get home and warm up! I really liked the laundry room after our walks - could was and dry clothes really easily. Comfortable bed, kitchen perfect for self catering and relaxing sofa and tv and bath at the end of the day.

What a fabulous experience. From the moment of booking through to arrival and check in and during an all too brief stay, everything was catered for. For my friend and I it was the perfect start to a short bank holiday break after a very busy period of traveling at home and abroad. I have stayed in a good few AB&B places, but Allison's offering is bang on point. She has catered to every need so completely. Amazing.

Had a lovely stay over the Christmas period with family. Beautiful property, exactly as described in the profile and pics. Very short drive to the coast where there are some great walks. Definitely looking to come back again.

A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

The Lodge is a peaceful place to stay and Alison was a great host. The space was clean and had everything I needed, yet still felt like a home. The view out to the garden, river and countryside beyond was wonderful to come back to after being at a busy work event all day. Alison was friendly and helpful when I had questions, but left me to it otherwise. A great place to I stay and I would stay here again if I'm in the area in the future.

Myself and my family had a wonderful time at Charlottes place. It was in a great location with a lovely view over the lake and the cabin itself was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed exploring the area, lots to see and do, Kirkby Lonsdale was our favourite but plenty to come back for. Charlotte was a great host, responding to questions very quickly. We hope to return to this area of the country at some point in the future and would love to stay and Charlottes place.

We had such a lovely time during our stay in this secret garden as Helen describes it! It's so unusual and peaceful 😌 Helen was so friendly and made us feel comfortable and at home! Would most definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic and relaxing break at Keer Lodge. Check-in and check-out were seamless, taking just seconds and completely hassle-free. The lodge itself was immaculate and perfectly situated right on the edge of the lake, offering great views. The kitchen is cleverly designed and well-equipped, with everything we needed readily available. Clear instructions for all the appliances were provided, making them easy to use, and we encountered no issues during our stay. I highly recommend Keer Lodge for anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway. We hope to return in the future!

Just what we needed - and more. A local base to bed-down whilst visiting family nearby - without getting under their feet too much. All clean, tidy and cosy. Kate was super-welcoming - showing us to the door and checking we could operate the heating, etc. A lovely setting, right on the waterfront. A handy location for the new Vermuyden Way parkrun which has recently started in Belton/Sandtoft.

Stayed for 3 nights in the cabin. Hosts Rob & Corin were very friendly & helpful. The cabin is in a private garden, which is beautifully maintained, peaceful, with great views. The cabin has everything you need for a fabulous break, lovely log fire & the hot tub makes it extra special, so relaxing just watching the birds on the feeder& listening to the cows & sheep in the local fields. Will definitely return & will recommend to friends.
