Get a restful sleep in one of our soft beds. In the morning, pad around on in-floor radiant heated floors (so cozy during winter-time.) Or enjoy your morning coffee on one of four outside decks. This treehouse was custom designed by its architect with three dimensional chess in mind. Artisan architectural details are found throughout. Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Sip coffee and watch the sunrise, lay out a towel at the end of the dock, or share a meal with the whole family! This is the perfect all-season getaway.
