For over a hundred years, this characterful old dairy was where the cows were milked at Hawthorn Farm. Sympathetically and luxuriously converted into a two-bedroom cottage in 2017, it is self-contained and completely detached. Inside, original walls, beams and vaulted ceilings give it a spacious, airy feel. It has its own fully-equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a large shower, WC and basin. The spacious 18 x 14 foot carpeted living space has two huge comfy sofas and a table and chairs.

We began the conversion work in 1995. The property sits in 5.5 acres of garden, surrounded by farmland. We are 5 miles north of the historic town of Framlingham & 16 miles from Suffolk's Heritage Coast. It's a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, quiet getaway. We have recently completely renovated our Lodge in the grounds of our 8 Acre Hazel wood. You are free to wander around and hopefully you will spot some wildlife, you are in the heart of the country side with many lovely walks in the area. You will have your own private garden at the front of the lodge where you can enjoy BBQ (provided) a local public house which is serving take away food. The Lodge is cleaned to an extremley high standard and you have total privacy.

An L-shaped single story private dwelling with 'bi-fold' doors overlooking a secluded sunny courtyard with ornamental pond. A large drive covered by CCTV, and can accommodate several large vehicles (not lorries). Tradies welcome. Suitable for upto 4 adults. No children under the age of 8 years and babies in arms allowed. Not suitable for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users. Sorry but no pets. Furnished to high standard and fully equipped.

You will be well looked after staying with us. Our Annex proves very popular with travellers seeking sparkling clean, modern details with all the necessary touches to make a comfortable bolt hole holiday, ten minutes walk from Southwold’s beaches and high street. We can accommodate 2 adults in the main bedroom and a further two guests in the living space, in two sofa beds (one small double and one single). A high chair/travel cot can be provided.
