This was our first holiday as a family and we felt right at home. The apartment was beautifully appointed and in a superb location with lots of walks and scenery. The area was very friendly especially for children with parks and play areas and the beaches are outstanding. Local shops including restaurants and bakeries & cafés were all very welcoming and very reasonably priced. It had been a long time since we had been to Southbourne and it didn’t disappoint along with the apartment. It made a perfect staycation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who are looking to have a good UK break.

We loved this flat, it was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and in a fabulous location with great views. It has a homely, personal feel and our children loved the toys and games! The sandy beach is a short walk down the hill and we spent a lot of time here. It is quieter than the main beach in swanage, a perfect place for children. Great to have a parking space too. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect place to stay!

Very convenient location for our weekend in Bournemouth. The flat was very spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated. It was well equipped and a treat to have two bathrooms between us. We managed to park on the street both evenings which was a bonus. We explored Kingston Lacy while we were there which we thoroughly recommend! Host was helpful and quick to respond.

Just returned home after a 2 night stay at this beautiful place And we can't recommend it enough. Spotless with everything you need. The furnishings were modern the large windows which led out on to a. small patio were an added bonus and our fur baby Sadie loved it, can't wait to come back again x

Beautiful location set within large private gardens with stunning views. It's about quarter of a mile up a hill but this wasn't an issue for us. Very dog friendly with a large garden and access to Stoberry Park. Great location to visit Cheddar, Glastonbury and Wookey Hole. Hosts were friendly and checked to see if we needed anything during our stay. Would recommend.

Charlotte was a great host. My first ever booking and she made it so easy and comfortable. Loved our stay, look forward to going back.

A gorgeous little cottage in beautiful countryside. Jo was extremely friendly and welcomed us brining extra games for the children which went down very well. Really lovely cottage with pretty garden, sadly we only stayed one night as it was a short visit but we would have liked to have stayed longer and been able to spend more time there

We had a great stay in the Railway cottage. The house is cosy and clean and set in a quiet area next to the rail line. I didn't find the noise of the trains intrusive. They aren't that regular but a pair of ear plugs might help at night if you go sleep early and are a light sleeper. We had everything we needed in the cottage and I loved hearing the bird song in the morning. Highly recommended.

Julia, was a very helpful and responsive host and I felt at ease with my booking. The house was lovely and a great location for a family long weekend get away. We have had the best time at Poorton House, staying a week at the beautiful cottage in Dorset. We were lucky to have gotten this week away as a wedding gift, and it couldn't have been a better babymoon! The house is very comfortable with all the essentials you may need, including full kitchen, fireplace for colder evenings, amazing bathroom and multiple rooms to enjoy. During warmer days you can use the beautiful garden with barbecue area, and there are many great walking routes and pubs nearby, as well as day trips to towns and beaches. We would definitely recommend and will be back!

Our family of four, including our two teenagers, really enjoyed the cozy relaxed wholesomeness of Felicity’s house and garden. The house is warm and spacious with all the necessary amenities a family could need. Our dog loved the garden and the easy of the nearby fields and woods for walks. It is a short walk to a few pubs and a short drive to the shops. We recommend staying here 100%.

We had a great time staying at Emma's house and especially enjoyed the horses, llamas, stone circle and hill walk right on the doorstep. The house was clean and cosy with a great garden. The stairs were a little challenging with a younger child but Emma was really accommodating in ordering stair gates and even plates for the kids to use. A great location for a UK getaway.

We had a wonderful three night stay at Anthony’s great place. He was the perfect host, very friendly , gave great instructions regarding the facilities and provided us with some local information. The property is as described and the photos are an accurate representation of the excellent accommodation. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you Anthony.

We had a lovely couple of days stay here. The flat was immaculate and as described. Brilliant instructions of how to access the flat and where to find everything. Really kind extras which were a lovely surprise and just made the stay so much more special. We will definitely be back because of the lovely flat and the location of Corfe castle. Thank you, Tina and Johnny for graciously sharing your stunning studio, garden and river access with me for the last week! The weather was incredible and I made the most of it, swimming in the river every day and enjoying my breakfast on the sunny decking every morning before heading to my training. I've stayed at some beautiful Airbnb places over the past decade but yours was the most magical! With bats, kingfishers, swans and geese and a very territorial pheasant! Couldn't recommend your place more highly. Thank you too, for the lift from the station and then meeting me at the station with my luggage (and dry swim gear!) on my final day. One final thing for potential visitors to consider is that the fridge can be noisy during the night, so bring some earplugs or Snoozeband if you're noise sensitive like me.

Sonya is incredibly responsive with communication and flexible with our check in times. Her flat is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. It’s to a great standard. The immediate surroundings of the flat are a little questionable but in prime location to parks, restaurants, and the beach. It can feel hot inside the flat on summer days but the large floor to ceiling French doors onto the terrace and provided fan at the property offer sufficient cooling. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly visit again. Sonya and her property have been great to our family (2 adults, 2 teens) while we are on our holidays!

We had such an amazing get away, it was so relaxing and felt like home. Paul was super helpful, made us feel comfortable and gave a great recommendation for food. Close enough to get to the Beach and town but far enough to enjoy the quiet and relax!

We had a really lovely 2 night stay at Nicole's place. The space was as described and it was super clean. Really perfect location to access the beach and walk in either direction. Local pub and tesco express are also very convenient. Would definitely recommend and we'd come back in a heart beat!

Fantastic apartment flooded with beautiful light and the most stunning views of the sea. So peaceful and quiet, well laid out and equipped with cool, funky decor. Perfect location really close to sandy Boscombe beach and ideal for exploring Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Dorset landmarks. Great for a family of four with the layout of the rooms.

Family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights and we all really enjoyed it. You are about 5 minutes drive to Bournemouth sea front and about 10-15 minutes to Southbourne beach. You are also a 5ish minute walk to Tesco Express (it's quicker to walk there than Drive) which is handy, there was also some restaurants in the same area but we didn't try any. The house was very clean and well looked after and a really good sized garden for the kids to run around in. Beds were all made up ready for us and few bits left out as a welcome gift which were a nice touch. Angela was also very accessible throughout the stay if we needed her.
