Evenings at the stone fireplace, mornings with coffee at the kitchen island. The resort pool and clubhouse are a short walk away, inside the gates. Checkout is two things: trash out, dishes washed. Douglas is a TVA reservoir — full pool late spring through early fall, drawn down in winter. Parkway towns are 20 to 30 minutes out on flat paved roads.
