The space is a clean, quiet, studio w/ kitchen, queen sized bed, futon couch, bathroom with a rain shower head, & sleeping loft. It's stocked with luxurious throws, linens, and towels. The entire upstairs is very roomy and peaceful. 2 bedrooms with queens, large TV room with 5th person extra-long single bed. A kitchenette and newly remodeled bathroom. BIG wraparound porch to enjoy the garden. Historic Gold Rush towns, wineries, lakes, rivers, and winter sports are nearby. Yosemite's Highway 120 entrance is just a 1 1/2 hour drive away. A splendid getaway for any season of the year! Let us know if you plan a Yosemite trip as I will give you the best directions.

We are a short 15 minute walk to downtown Sonora and a 7 minute drive to Columbia State Historic Park. Many more amazing adventures await! Tuolumne County is one of the most beautiful places in California. If you enjoy history and the outdoors, you will love it here. Yosemite National Park's is only an hour and a half away! Lakes, streams, hiking, skiing, await you.

Cottage at the Broken Branch

Experience the historic Gold Country and Yosemite national park staying in this newly renovated 1800s mining cabin. Originally built in the late 1800s for the miners of the Crystal Rock mine, the cottage now has heat, air conditioning, highspeed wifi, a kitchen, and bathroom. The Broken Branch is a small working ranch, so the beautiful sunrise views include several horses, donkeys, and goats. It's about an hour and a half to Yosemite and only minutes from downtown Columbia and Sonora.

Come stay at this rustic, unique, hand sculpted cob earth house in the heart of the gold country surrounded by wilderness. The house is magical inside and out, with unique curved walls and ceilings, facing a seasonal pond and home to much wildlife. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond. Please note the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is down an external staircase. There is no oven.

The humble cottage is 600 sq feet. Super clean and efficient. The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable for solo travelers.

Super clean 1-bedroom guesthouse located in peaceful Phoenix Lake Estates—10 minutes from historic downtown Sonora. 80 miles to Yosemite, 21 miles to Pinecrest Lake, 29 miles to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, and close to two casinos. Inside, you’ll find a spacious bedroom, bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a pullout sofa bed, and a workspace. Many apologies, but we do now allow animals due to allergies.

This self contained space is part of our home, but is a separate building right next to the house. There's a well lit hallway to your private entrance. It's one large room with an enclosed bathroom. There's a shower, toilet and vanity. No tub. There's a queen size bed, 6' couch, dining table/chairs and fridge. You can BBQ and use the patio table. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and starry nights from comfy seats on the deck.
