The cottage is in a superb setting on a south facing hillside with panoramic views across miles of fine Yorkshire countryside. It is approximately two miles from the centre of vibrant Hebden Bridge where there is an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, coffee bars, art décor cinema, theatre and markets. The cottage has been recently refurbished retaining many original features but with all the modern comforts inc a fully fitted kitchen, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

From this spacious modern apartment you will see the Calderdale Way which you can access from right outside your private entrance. There is lit patio area for your enjoyment with a luxury sauna. 2 Saw Hill is the perfect retreat for anyone wanting to delve into the beautiful countryside of West Yorkshire. This self catering home is located around lovely walks, close to local pubs and restaurants. Although surrounded by spectacular views the train station in Sowerby Bridge is a 5 min car journey away to reach further destinations including Manchester or Leeds. The hosts live next door and are available if needed.

Leave your car behind and walk everywhere around this picturesque town, full of independent cafes and restaurants, artisan shops, galleries, pubs, live music and even an independent cinema and local theatre. (on street parking IS available, but we say the best way to see Hebden Bridge is by foot).
