The RR winds through tunnels and trestles along the south border of the park and was originally the only way to visit Glacier. Light sleeper could have problem with the train noise. We aim to bridge rustic with amenities. While you will find everything needed for a comfortable stay (full bed, outhouse with flushing toilet, outdoor shower, stove, dishes, fridge, cookware), be aware that a yurt is a glorified tent with doors that lock. This is a beautiful and convenient place to relax when visiting the last best place. There is a romantic woodstove inside and a hottub outside! There are two brand new A-Frames next door that share some outdoor spaces and a cabin as well. You can book all 4 for large family events or just the house for privacy.

The Brownstone is a secluded, private and completely gorgeous cabin for two located on the Abbott Valley Homestead. With a one room layout and separate kitchen and bath, this cabin is surrounded by a large deck on the edge of your own private forest. Enjoy the scenery from every window! Fully updated, immaculately clean and very comfortably furnished. This is a great place to call home while visiting Glacier. Enjoy easy ten minute access to the Park.

The Glacier Yurt

This 12’ yurt is the perfect romantic getaway for nature loving folks. The sky light lets in the starlight and moonlight that’s so spectacular in Montana. It’s cozy, comfy and in very close proximity to the Commons/bath house. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings.
