A little slice of island paradise. We had such an amazing few days at David and Angie's place. They have gone above and beyond to ensure the accommodation is pristine clean and well furnished with everything you could need. We absolutely loved it. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. We can't wait to come back.

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

Hele leuke plek om te verblijven! Het voelt heel afgelegen aan, maar de stad is op slechts 10 minuutjes te bereiken met de auto. We hebben een kampvuur kunnen maken; een hele gezellige avond. Zeker aan te raden!

The Captains retreat is a beautiful cottage with everything you should need to hand. The decor is lovely and just as the photos portray. It is very private with its own sweet little courtyard and late afternoon there was still beautiful sunshine to sit outside and enjoy. Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected due to family illness but Helen was the most responsive and friendly host. Extremely helpful with recommendations and very flexible where possible with check in and out times. We very much hope to return in the future to enjoy the full experience, thank you Helen:)

fantastic property with an amazing view which gets better with the balcony where you can walk out and take in the wonderful views of the bay. everything you could possibly need is provided in this exceptionally clean property, with the added welcoming touches of fresh flowers sweets and a bottle of fizz were the icing on the cake . Steve is a fantastic and friendly host who responded quickly when we needed a boost in heating on a chilly evening if you are looking for a cozy and comfortable get away with a magnificent sea view look no further just , we counting down the days until our next stay already in May . thank you Steve for an amazing holiday home 10/10

Wonderful house with beautiful decor and everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms were perfect. Lovely outdoor space and plenty of off road parking. Pub only a few mins walk away which served nice dinners. We will definitely be coming back to stay here soon!

Very comfortable stay in this large flat. Perfect fit for our needs in terms of space (3 adult couples and 2 toddlers) and location (walk to old Portsmouth, shops, bar an restaurants nearby). Great communication and flexibility from hosts. Would definitely recommend.

Great host, very responsive to a question we had on arrival. Great views from top floor bedroom. Extremely comfortable and would definitely recommend. Has everything you need for a holiday. Within a few minutes from the town. Loved the recommendation of going to the Black Swan for food. Definitely a must when you stay here.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Marmalade Cottage. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home; it was cosy, clean, and full of charm. My children especially loved the swings and the beautiful garden. The cottage was immaculate and so thoughtfully arranged, and our hosts were absolutely lovely, warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly throughout. They even left us a delicious cake and some other lovely treats, which was such a kind and generous touch. Thank you, Julie, for creating such a delightful place. We’d return in a heartbeat!
